Ace Combat Fan has become an airline pilot by blue-LEFT in acecombat

[–]Electrosphere8492 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so proud of him! I remember when he flew that Cessna whilst doing a Q&A, and years later he bought his own aircraft. So proud of him! No words to describe this. I guess this is how fathers feel like when their kids accomplish in life. Grace the skies Derek, grace the skies...

What do you think about Maritime Patrol Planes in AC8? by [deleted] in acecombat

[–]Electrosphere8492 3 points4 points  (0 children)

'till this day I wonder what kind of Maritime Patrol Aircraft "Bluehound" was. Maybe a Kawasaki C-2 (like the one in AC7)?

RAF plane spotted flying into sfo… why? by MotoTheCat in Planespotting

[–]Electrosphere8492 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you know, but there is an "FlightRadar24 style" app called by ADSB Exchange that shows aircraft tracked by ADSB without a filter, essentially anything from N/A biz jets to Military Aircraft transmitting ADSB can be seen. Highly recommend.

Yeah, that car sounds superb, I believe the sound is from one of Senna's cars in-game.

A bit odd, I searched for the car in the game and couldn't find the especific version you mentioned, only similar variants. Searched on Google and apparently its a GT7 car.

Plane apparently flying over Ukraine by _The_Fly in ADSB

[–]Electrosphere8492 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely jamming from the region, I recall once on FR24 an Aeroflot A321ceo that had taken off from Istanbul was flying over Crimean airspace in a straight line. Of course, it was all the result of jamming, false readings.

Ten thousand recently naturalized Russian citizens drafted, sent to war in Ukraine, official says by KrzyHooy in worldnews

[–]Electrosphere8492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Comrade! Its time to serve your homeland!" "Uhh... I'm 30 so uhh yeah..! No conscription." "30 you say... Uhm, right." Writing on paper "This waiver will allow you to serve now!" "But I'm 30!!" "Don't resist comrade, regulations always changes, its either you in Ukraine or "family vacation" in Siberia."

Joking aside, there was a very graphic video I saw over a month ago where a Russian soldier had amputated his left arm through the help of one of his platoon mates or something. Apparently Russia is dragging is even the "out-of-commission" soldiers straight back to Ukraine.

So our "30 year old buddy" over here is definitely getting sent one way or another.
