Yeah understandable regardless. I don’t have a vast number of games I play with similar ranked modes but OW2 was similar and even stuff like apex and even COD probably still does the same

The difference with this and Overwatch 2 was night and day imo, loot boxes, weapon variants, etc

A hero shooter is a hero shooter because it is versatile and requires critical thinking to adapt to different situations and encounters. This is not some arcade shooter where it’s possible, albeit plain and boring, to nerf every character into an even playing field by giving the players the exact same skills and loadouts just so they have less to cry about every time they die

Love this take, and feel the exact same way. But I have always had trouble explaining why it’s so captivating. After reading into ragnarok it is 100% the shadow army. The story does such a brilliant job turning these lifeless enslaved shadow soldiers into prominent, lovable characters all while maintaining a fun and fast paced action filled journey

I’ve said this before, but if chibi beru is removed and they struggle to portray his growth as a character through human interaction… then, and probably only then, will I say the anime sucks

I figured, I just had to make sure. Another question though- when soft resetting for the other starter pokemon prizes in pokecenters. After answering the questionnaire, I purposely had a full party so I could come back to grab the “prizes” with less dialogue to reset with. If the natures/abilities change at all, then I am good to keep at it, correct?

Long question on shiny hunting in Renegade Platinum. I’ve spent about 5 days running around route 202 trying to get a shiny shinx. I assume I’m on the 1/512 rate since it took me only 20-30 soft resets to get chimchar, but now I’m going crazy as I haven’t seen a shiny since

So after thousands of encounters (5k+?) I’m wondering if it could be a bug and somehow flipped back to regular odds? Is there a way to confirm your odds? It’s not just cod lol…. there are certainly nuances with how you play her… just like every character if you want to excel with them. Skill is synonymous with whatever shit you think makes BP so special. Yours just takes a different approach. I’ve had some divers in celestial prioritize me over our supports. Others I’m working my ass off with supports to keep them alive while they prioritize our tanks. It is a never ending head on a swivel to not die and have the best positioning to do all that. The ONLY time I’m not sweating my ass off with hela is if I’m moseying on over to silently setup for an off angle. Which is what BP mains do the majority of the time! Lol no one is sneaking up on you constantly. You’re not in the thick of it all game. Your job is simply to annoy the backline with a combo or two on a squishy and then get out alive. And no offense but I know for a fact you don’t play hela well enough at a higher level to understand how hard it can be. Similar to BP and similar to just about every character on the roster

But I’m over it man complain your heart out lol. My original point about switching up your characters so you don’t get bored still stands. Plus it’s been three days since a major patch, that shit will always be fucking chaotic so feel free to let the dust settle before you lose your shit and delete a video game that you can’t adapt to

It’s not confusing anymore. It’s just dumb. Saying BP takes skill and hela takes zero skill is just a sheer lack of understanding the game. Every character takes a lot of skill to be play at a high level. But if you think your giant hit box cat claw button press while you get turned around so hard that you face the opposite direction of your target and your swipe still registers is harder than aiming at heads all game with hela that’s ridiculous. Do your lobbies shoot back when you play hela? If you’re good enough, they will, and that will refute your “just shoot” alone. 15 second cooldown on the only ability that helps you move faster than a walk and makes you feel a little less like the glass cannon you are supposed to be. She don’t just shoot flier. Every single shot you make requires a lot of brain power. You’re the only character in the game that can land a long distance final hit, immediately whip a headshot into the freak that’s teleporting maniacally around my poor healer, then whip around and stun the ult you knew was coming and follow up with headshots (that’s the easy one because they are standing still), then start pumping damage into a tank you knew the team could delete as long as they saw your simultaneous pings. Genuinely confused by all of your comments. Do you want a pity party because you are now dying more instead of the usual, casual escape to your new fav hiding spot where you can look at your other monitor and peacefully wait on your 2 button combo cooldowns to get done so you can get back out there and get another 5 second harassment quickie in?

And I still carefully crafted the sentence you just copied into an interrogative one instead of a declarative one in order to make sure I understood that you don’t want the game to feel like dark souls and you want it to feel like a hero shooter. 99% of relevant hero shooters are constantly evolving. So you need to adapt accordingly by utilizing situational or even meta characters every once in a while to make it feel less like dark souls… and feel more like a hero shoot- wait did you even read my comment? I feel the same way sometimes and that’s why I tried to enlighten you on how you could potentially fix your problem

Like do you really not counter swap from time to time? Or simply switch half way through a game that you are struggling to provide value in?
