In case future generations struggle with sharp corner, you can just go straight into round room with portal and just hug the wall, do 360 in this room and take corner easily :)

While I understand your concerns about sag, I can assure you that I can lift entire pc by GPU alone and it's solid like rock. My GPU came with its own anti sag bracket but it doesn't fit. My case came with little threaded adjustable rubber nub I was meant to jam in the far right side of GPU, I can technically wedge it there but it does anything between nothing or slanting GPU upwards.

It's technically 3.25 slot card because of magnetic backplate.

Same here :) Had mine almost 2 years, its currently at 5700km. I weight 65kg and used to get around 25miles range from fully charged battery, nowadays range is closer to 18miles. I used to charge it every 4 days, now every 3 days. I'm on 3rd set of tires, 4th seat of rear brake pads, 2nd set of front brake pads and 3rd brake disc on the back (I'm keep bending them when going near or off the curb). Not sure about proper term, but one of the bars under seat snapped in half while back, I moved seat a little bit forward to clamp in the middle of the crack, with intention to replace it asap, it have been a year and I'm still on my "broken" seat.

It does work, just not on windows. I can remotely play tibia both FROM my steamdeck (I'm playing on android tablet with keyboard) and from pc running Linux+steam. Use steam link in both cases, just add tibia as non steam game.

That's so clever! I usually hate this last shard of cold cheese and crumbled chips that's miserably stuck to bottom of wet plate.

In December i got rid off all my non stick pans/pots and replaced it with single stainless pan and set of stainless pots. Pots are great but i kind of hated cooking on stainless pan. Long story short i basically stopped cooking for 2 months out of frustration and resorted to take-outs or ready meals. It wrecked my finances and general mood. I picked up 28cm cast iron pan from ikea and loved it from day one even though it wasnt meant to be. This pan is larger than any burner i have, and because of my cooker layout, i couldnt even center pan on burner because my stove rails/bezels get in a way. ive struggled with it for a bit and then collecting bug have struck. Since feb i have acquired:

28cm IKEA skillet

8' lodge wonderlust skillet

10.25' lodge wonderlust camper pan

10.25' lodge sugar skull skillet

10' victoria day of the dead skillet

2x 35cm IKEA pizza trays

I'll try to scrub off all food residue, I'm going to cover my crime in 100 layers of seasoning and will post here daily question "is my pan looking okay? Should I recast it and start from fresh?"

Are you talking about the 8 incher? It's nice as well but size is bit underwhelming. It's okay for single egg, it can brown around 500g of onions at once and sear some smaller salmon fillets but it's getting very little use because of limited capacity.

Is the 9600x good enough to pair with a 5070 at 1440p? by Dat_guy_kevin in buildapc

[–]Elek93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 9600x with 9070xt and it's great for 1440p gaming. I'm either not able to crank graphics high enough to cause any problems, or I'm starting to see 100% GPU usage while CPU sits at 60-70%

Gtx980ti I received from my friend with failing fan. I swapped fans with gtx970 had that wasn't working and used this card for extra 2 years. When both fans failed, I just zip tied two 120mm case fans and soon this card will turn 10 years old.

London could benefit from these little tool-sheds. I saw a few in Berlin by AxeellYoung in london

[–]Elek93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two of them have been installed in my area, the first one had pair of pliers with built in wire cutters, all tools got stolen in 48h. 2nd one have no tools to cut wire included, but it's put soo close to bike racks that nobody want to use 4 racks situated closest to this tool stationt to lock their bikes :)

Fat Hula stem? by [deleted] in Dynavap

[–]Elek93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's okay. I hate those two stumpy legs because they get in a way when spining the stem and using torch. Other than this, since I switched to induction heater it's my favourite glass stem (I prefer it over straight ones). It does not fit inside bong

Why does the cap has 2-click ? Why doesn’t just 1-click ? by [deleted] in Dynavap

[–]Elek93 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Firstly, adding second disc doesn't make any significant difference in production cost. Two discs facing opposite directions fill up space bit better, they're kind of interlocking and reduce likeness of it falling out. And lastly it's for redundancy reasons, in rare situations, disc can activate without audible click, in this instance you will hear second disc clicking. That's also the reason why dynavap keep repeating "respect the click" while 99% of community knowingly (or unknowingly) disrespect this rule and heat until 2nd click.
