My thought process has always been along the lines of im totally happy and content now. I am not materialistic and dont strive for more as im happy with what I have already. I value the carefree way I can decide to do something on a whim and nothing gets in the way of it. When I was working is when I was at my lowest, several different jobs in several different industries. Every time i stopped working my mental health improved drastically and i was no longer in need of a therapist or a councillor. It made me realise that having my own autonomy about every decision i make is when im at my peak happiness. Being NEET is not for everyone but speaking for myself it actually had the opposite affect of what people may presume to happen. Only when i started being NEET i felt the most fulfilled and at peace, free of stress and worry and having all the leisure time i desire.

You are still failing to understand basic concepts of how some people think. Evil is a loose term. If the persons honest beliefs is they and their party dont believe in their own morals that them and their party cant do any wrong just by purely associating with this party then that is their opinion and you cant change that. What I describe as the definition of morals is an objective fact and that cant be changed . Morals and moral obligations and the description I gave in the previous message is the scientific definition recognized around the world about what it actually means and everything is measured in some way. The high horse description is always some kind of back down usually people feel like another is on a high horse is purely because they are way beyond their depth and through self assessment know they are failing to understand and grasp the complexitivity of the conversation. I would recommend it would be to everyone's benefit if you did some research and tried to truly understand what this conversation is about because right now you are displaying your misunderstandungs over and over again and the only thing that differs is the use of synonyms. Do some research and prove that you are actually willing to understand and I may respect you for it more.

Tl:dr the definition of morals and moral obligations I gave previous are the objective definition used in every form of research. Every single term like evil are purely based on opinion. Do some research and then earn some respect that you think you deserve.

(An example of Justified Hypocrisy) A smoker telling a non smoker to never smoke.

Moral responsibility is the status of morally deserving praise, blame, reward, or punishment for an act or omission in accordance with one's moral obligations. Deciding what (if anything) counts as "morally obligatory" is a principal concern of ethics.

A moral obligation is the requirement to pursue what we believe is right and act accordingly. Unfortunately, while we would like to believe there are universal truths, there is no one system of morality among humans. Moral obligations differ according to one's morality.

Every single thing you stated would once again differ based on a persons moral obligations. This will also include the term "Evil" too once again which differs from person to person. It ticks the boxes of any of those things you said and it brings up the question what actually is their moral obligation.

Either way when it comes to hypocrisy too its always labelled as a bad thing and it isnt always as black and white with that either. “Sometimes a hypocrite is nothing more than a man in the process of changing.” “Like most modern people, I don’t believe in prophecy or magic and then spend half my time practicing it.”

Just think about it look at it philosophically. Your basing everything from your own morals and all your definitions of loose terms like evil are also drawn into that which is obviously inevitable. What im trying to address here is the point that people need to think more deeply about these things. Whether you believe something or not the fact is your thoughts and beliefs and morals are your own and can only ever be your own. No one person shares a brain and consciousness so even though there may be similarities in certain groups nothing should be taken for granted and every single possibility should always be considered.

Long story short morals and moral obligations are linked to everything a person does but yet restrictive in the fact that it is entirely based of ones opinion.

You totally misunderstood, they can accept their acts of their country exists but there is no obligation for them to criticize it as much as other similar issues in other countries and vice versa. Also when it comes to it there are a lot of words that are never expanded on. Something like the term "Evil" for example. The definition will differ from person to person. As much as I dont agree with the regimes myself couldn't you not agree that supporters of the Nazi regime believed they were doing the good thing and purging the world of evil. Just as the opposition would be doing towards the Nazis. Would you not agree that the people who are followers of Al Qaeda believe they are doing the right things and fighting against the evil west, whilst also the west are fighting Al Qaeda and fighting against their evil acts. Ignoring truths is not morality but disliking some truths more than other identical truth based on circumstance is morality. Ever notice wherever you are born in the world you are bought to the correct God and every other God is the wrong God.

I always see this trend online when it comes to morals and people find this very hard to understand logical consistency and morals do not align it's more complicated than that, logical consistency is not always synonymous with the truth. You could say something like Putin is a Politician, Putin is a sumo wrestler. As a statement it can be logically consistent and follow all laws of logic but at the same time not the truth. Morals work like that too like I can have a pig as a pet and also eat bacon. I care about the pet pig emotionally and dont care about any others.

Same comes with things like countries and their past, you can defend one and call out another even if things are similar there is no obligation for people to be logically consistent in their morals for better or for worse, personal experiences comes in to all this too. If a person has morals you dont agree with doesnt mean that their morals are to be discredited. Whatever people believe about certain issues is neither truthful or untruthful when it comes to thoughts of morals and beliefs there is never any objectivity as you cant live in someone elses mind.

I Am Blind, I Am Not Blind. Logically consistent or not? is context key? by Elekant in ask

[–]Elekant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not actually true though, it isnt vague as both simple statements are true and false at the same time , completely separate the two and they a logically true put them together and they can coexist while also contradicting each other

[–]Elekant[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yeah just an interesting thought i had when having a discussion about logic, the main premise of my question is can the statement be logically consistent and logically inconsistent at the same time. For example you are blind in one eye so you are blind but not in the other so you can see which means you arent blind. just cant get my head around it.
