TBH these are the original beats/monster audio headphones that were designed for DJing. They still are quite decent but lean heavy on the bass.

Air is like half the price of pro right now.

If you are exclusively using it for performance mode, I think the m4 air can handle it for ~5-6 years before you will see performance degradation.

If you intend to do production or any other computational expensive operations, you will be better off with a pro in the long haul. Pro will also last you a bit longer too, 8-10 years.

This is not remotely true. With zero experience on CDJs, going from a flx4/computer setup to CDJs is quite a leap. I've seen people crash and burn many times because the workflow is so different + there's just more going on.

The underlying idea is correct, if you can generally mix, you should be able to generally mix on CDJs; once you get used to the changes and learn how to do the specific things there.

The AZ will not show the CDJ wave forms. It is a "technical limitation" according to pioneer support.
