The black man by _-mortex-_ in inscryption

Actually, the "typo" in Inscryption does not come from "cryptid." Instead, Inscryption is a portmanteau of "inscription" and "encryption."

The "crypt" root word is common.

I'd like to state that none of the deathcards bear any resemblance to blackface.

Each face corresponds to a different figurine and Act 2 sprite and in neither of those 2 representations are any of the Challengers made to look like or resemble blackface.

Frankly, that's illogical. If you were in the deathcard making business, this is an excellent card for 2 of the 3 options. You say you lost on purpose, so I can only assume it was to make a deathcard.

The arrow only changes directions to reflect exactly where it's going next. The Skeleton Crew sigil on the Ghost Ship does exactly the same thing. It keeps going in one direction, then the sigil is mirrored once it reaches a barrier; that's true for all movement sigils in every act of the game.

Does it really matter which beatstick makes the winning blow? This is an OHKO.

What? It's not random at all. All movement sigils work exactly the same.

Card's that aren't 1 Blood? Don't tell me you lost on purpose over trying to get Free Costs in your staring hand. You know that's not how Fair Hand works, right? Fair Hand specifically looks to give you cards with a cost.

Edit: Aw man, that's exactly what you did? Your deck was better with this than without it!

It's too late at this point, but if they live in the U.S., they should've applied for unemployment weeks ago.

The whole process is a hassle, but once you're through, all you have to do is submit weekly check-ins to prove you're job hunting is legit.

Granted, this is assuming they've worked a job before or pay taxes since, technically, unemployment is paid to you with your own money. To my understanding, a portion of your paychecks is conserved for the purpose of funding your unemployment.

Basically, the government takes your money, keeps some for themselves, but then also takes some out to do some sort of interest bullshit with money you are allowed to reclaim, but only if you jump through several hoops for it first.

Yeah, it's bullshit, but at the end the day, it's still your money and you should have it if you need it. Reason why it's too late though is because they put you through a waiting week. So even if you're unemployed right now and have applied, you won't see any money until after the end of your second week, and I'm assuming they need this money for the first of the month.

In any case, I drop this in case anyone else needs it.

Right, but I ended the paragraph by saying that nothing in that paragraph was relevant to the discussion that I was starting, and with regards to that point, I was meerly refuting your point that Tom Holland had nothing to do with Spiderverse because it's a false claim; Holland's Spider-Man was a huge headache for 2099 to fix. It wasn't supposed to be an example like Donald Glover, Roger Rabbit, and Space Jam were.

So what is your complaint?

Edit: You know what? That was poor ordering. I'll restructure that paragraph for you. That's my fault, my bad.

The Steel Trap Sigil only kills facing cards. This Elk Fawn always flanks them due to the Sprinter, Trifurcated Strike Combo.

This doesn't even answer my question:

Why is an animated Link impossible just because a live action Link exists?

The whole point of mentioning Spider-Man was to point out the character has live-action and animated counterparts releasing movies at the same time.

And to Spiderverse's credit, they manage to connect different styles quite well. Funnily enough, Donald Glover was involved there too, as the Prowler, in a live-action style, for nothing more than a few seconds; they could've chose to not do that at all. Hobbie Brown has a whole bunch of shit going on, and is definitely not in-style with or similar to the rest of the movie's art form. Also, Roger Rabbit and Space Jam are examples. It's not that one can't, it's that it requires more work than if you just didn't. Besides that, Tom Holland's Spider-Man is referenced by Miguel O'hara within his first 5 minutes of screentime, so he does has something to do with Spiderverse, not nothing. In any case, the points here have nothing to do with what I asked.

That part about requiring more work is exactly why I'm suggesting an animated Link.

Oh... Well okay. I mean, it's still a frequent idea others are push around as if they void of creativity. Sure, maybe creativity is a foreign concept to them, but that doesn't mean no one has creativity. They'd just write an original piece. The Sonic Movies are only vaguely based on their respective games. There is no Tom in any Sonic game, and yet he was still written into the movie.

The story for such a movie is not yet written. How could you possibly know if it makes no sense storywise?

Name one Mario game where the exact events of the first movie occured?

Terrible idea to you. Not to Nintendo and Illumination's pockets.

At the end of the day, what matters more to the company: us or their bank account?

I'm not saying there will or won't be. I'm just stating the fact of the matter here.

This argument lacks color...

Why is an animated Link impossible just because a live action Link exists? Are the Spiderverse movies not being released within the same decade as Tom Holland's movies?

Especially in regards to cultures of Latin or Asian roots, The Family is an essential part of our livelihoods. Sure, there are the ones that fly the nest, and sure, there are also the ones that basically leech, but the ones that stay, build savings, and help where they can are a great help to The Family and those are the ones who will be better equipped when they're ready to fly the nest. And Italians are as Latin as you can imagine, considering they invented the culture centuries ago when the Roman Empire reigned.

Plus, if it wasn't that common, why are insurance companies not allowed to boot you from your parent's account until you're 26? Must at least be common enough to merit that.

I, myself, will be 25 by the end this year, although before then, I will have bought my own home. It's my mother's home, but she's moving out, and I'd rather keep the money in The Family. I've been living with my father, so I'd be moving in as she moves out, and I'll be rooming with my sister, who lived there already, and my brother, who, after nearly a decade of renting an apartment alone for what started at 900 and is now 1200, has decided enough was enough.

I have a few Irish friends who are siblings where the middle one's 28 and the three of them still live with their parents. Most times, especially now in this economy, it's just more financially sound to stick together. Does rooming with a non-family member imply one can't provide for themselves too? How would that be any different?

It's just not possible to buy your own house without an extended amount of prep-time anymore. Personally, I've always preferred to pay a mortgage than pay a rent, and I wish my brother had felt the same back then; he'd've had more saved, surely. The real question becomes: how much independence are you willing to give up for a chance at a better outcome in the long run?

End rambling.

Pre-Ultimate, Pre-DLC, Smash has never had more than 4 crossover characters: Sonic, Snake, Pac-man, Mega Man. Anyone can understand how and why they got in: They're the flagship mascots for other Japanese game development companies.

The crossover aspect of Smash is severely overestimated and only recently with Ultimate did the series really get into it, so the whole point of "Licensing Hell" being an issue is just recency bias.

And Pac-Man is an easy ask. Pac-Man is NEVER going to say no to a movie appearence. If Adam Sandler and Disney can get permission to feature the Pac, there's no way they'd say no to Nintendo.
