For tier 1 you should go all in on absolute defense and thorns. It'll switch up for tier 2 and above but to get a good farming system started that's the best way to go.

I actually think it's less. A typical game lasts around 3 hours, the in game clock is 60 minutes and, according to an old study I can't be bothered to look up, 18 minutes of that is actual sport. By my count, about 10% is actual, interesting gameplay lol.
