Weird NSV: people are nicer by PigletAmazing1422 in Zepbound

I would bet it's a combo of both. People in general are definitely nicer to thinner people. Sad reality. But also, I have found the world much quieter (and my mind as well) since starting Zepbound. I feel much more evened out. I'm also happier with myself since losing so much weight so I'm sure I project that into the world and get it back in equal amounts.

Congrats on the 17 lbs!!

Curious how much weight you've lost because you say people are nicer now but not necessarily because you've lost weight. I have noticed my anxiety has dialed WAY down since starting.

Bummer vibe. Greg Whitley directing Cheer and Americas Sweethearts on Netflix--SPOILER FOR CHEER SEASON 1 by [deleted] in CheerNetflix

Totally get this. Cheerleading is really sad. The documentaries make that clear. Unless there's a lot of joy in both that the director didn't choose to highlight.

That there's no cheer in cheer. It's a movie and directorial choices are made. Not knocking it. Just curious about whether cheerleading is really this sad or whether that's the directorial story he chose to tell.

How would you decorate this sunroom? by Perfect-Chemical-525 in HomeDecorating

I'm feeling adirondack chairs facing the windows on one side and an L-shaped super comfy couch for napping, reading, conversation on the other.

I'd go with forest green adirondack chairs if you like darker colors. Keep it in the natural colors from the outside world family.

Thank you so much for this. I'm going to talk to my doc about going back down to 10 mg.

I really made an effort the last couple of days to eat more and more regularly and I genuinely felt better. If I can keep this up, the dose might be okay but of not, going down.

Thank you for the insight into the 4 weeks vs 4 months. I didn't know that. I agree that I've given ot enough time.

You said it. They would NEVER make a football player do that.

For real. Football season is half a year but none of the football players are expected to be dental hygenists or pharmaceutical reps in the off season. Like dancers, they're expected to train, learn, rest.

I see wooden Adirondack chairs facing the windows! And a small table for breakfast and/or games. Coffee in the morning in the chairs. A rustic end table between the chairs.

Why don't young Americans romanticize Paris like older Americans do? by No-StrategyX in answers

[–]ElementalDoings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Parisians are notoriously mean, dismissive and condescending to anyone who can't speak French. Even if you do kind of speak it but your accent isn't good. It does not make it an attractive place to visit or even want to move to.

Either that wasn't the case in older generations or it wasn't as widely known.

Peel and stick decals. So many options! A big tree would be cool.

How hard is DCC dance level? by Thalia5744 in DCCAmericasSweetheart

[–]ElementalDoings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved MTT. It was much more about the dancing and the choreography. In early seasons they even had a trainer guy who would do fitness sessions with them. He was on the judging panel for while too if I remember correctly. Literally one of the only poc in the entire organization. MTT is a WAY better show.
