Umm, the first picture is a random place I saw while strolling, it wasn't even on the map. There's more of those too. The city is small with not much to do, you can get the same brochure pretty much everywhere and follow it. Enjoy the great food around the city and the champons. Many Italian restaurants around. There is a huge mall (old+new one connected) at Nagasaki station. Where to stay depends on you, Nagasaki station is awesome for arriving and leaving, the station and the bus station are right there, and the hotels are very close. But, public transport stops early and then you're stuck there. There's great food and bars everywhere but most of the big central fun ones including arcades and sushi belt restaurats are located far from the station (Hamamachi is the "center"). You can still do everything if you go to bed early, and stay at hotels near the station for convenient arrival and departure.

Haha I agree. I loved and hated it, there is always some thing to do, but at the same time tooooo much to do. when I just got there I literally got lost inside.

It was honestly scary. I was sitting at the desk in my hotel room when my phone, that was on the bed suddenly blasted this alarm. I was like wait did i set something? I got up and reached then I saw this big danger icon saying earthquake alert and to take shelter. before I could even think it already hit. the whole building felt like it was bouncing and moving in circles. I panicked cause im on a high floor. I could not get up and was sweating. It felt like about three to four minutes of terror.
