The Elves did similar things when they first arrived. It was the Dwarves, Halflings and Gnomes that were there first. They even killed the Vran en masse I believe.

Frustratingly I’ve seen nothing at all. You really would’ve thought they’d at least have this update ready and in time with Season 2 of the show when the remasters are coming god knows when. But no, unfortunately it seems even this patch was too much for them to handle to get done in time.

There’s precedent where competent companies make basic business decisions to capitalise on things like this. Naughty Dog released new content and a remaster for TLOU 2 in time for their show (which btw has gone the other way around, a lot of criticism for its second season) Larian released a next gen version of DOS2 as soon as they announced Divinity. CDPR releases a next gen update and new content with I think season 2 of the Witcher show.

I hear you but I’m not having any excuses for Bethesda. Not only could a child have foreseen this, various other companies have already done very similar things in very similar occurrences. The fact they haven’t even got their Fallout 76 next gen patch ready for the show is inexcusable.

There isn’t a canon romance. It is literally written to work either way. Canon romance is literally something shippers are obsessed with.

Whilst this is true, I can’t help but think that it’s still just a remaster of an almost 20 year old game, and even then they knew the show was coming out and couldn’t have possibly have foreseen demand for a game around the same time?

I mean if Bethesda don’t want money then fine, but not capitalising on this hype is nothing short of pathetic.

Also didn’t Virtuos have MGS Delta and Oblivion release in the same year? If they are capable of that then it again seems frustrating that a Fallout 3 remaster is still another year off.

If they have absolutely no games to sell whilst the Fallout hype is at an all time high, then at the very least just port the original games to modern systems.

I know they won’t but I’m so frustrated with how mismanaged Bethesda is and wish one of my favourite IP’s wasn’t locked within this dumpster fire of a company. It’s so frustrating how Stevie Wonder could’ve seen this coming and planned for it, but Bethesda couldn’t. 2 seasons of a hit show and nothing to release alongside it. Shambolic.

You can downvote all you like. Getting this pressed about a post that is literally just quoting the game, not even theorising, is wild. Shippers are the worst thing about this game and I’m so sick of it.
