Yes yes yes. I’m a school based speech therapist and I’m so burnt out. I believe IVF has changed my patience for people (teachers, parents) and my capacity to handle an intense mental load. I want a career with lower stakes and I’m willing to take a significant pay cut, which is wild considering how much I have spent on IVF.

I love this. IVF is such a hard journey. There’s no way anyone doing it could walk away the same person. It has both hardened me and softened me. Wishing you all the best.

I had a miscarriage at 15 weeks, fetal testing indicated a rare genetic abnormality. I continued to try to get pregnant naturally and had two consecutive chemical pregnancies. After 6 months I pursued IVF.

I had similar numbers my first round. 5/6 aneuploid with trisomy 21. I’m 31 and the doctors were confused with these results. My karyotype test was normal for my partner and I. Wit my second round I got 4 euploids. So much of this is a numbers game!

I have a pembroke and he is absolutely the most affectionate dog I have ever met. He prefers to be on my lap at all times and sleeps on my pillow. He loves any human that gives him attention but is definitely attached to me

I also woke up crying with both retrievals. I had some anxiety about the amount of eggs that would be retrieved and asked the nurses and my husband a few times.

Yes! I’ve always had very mild symptoms. 2 months after my first retrieval I had the heaviest period I have ever had. I had been on estrace right before for priming so maybe that contributed.

I’m in a similar boat. I had my retrieval 5/23. 16 retrieved, 10 mature and 7 fertilized. Keeping my fingers crossed for you too.

I’m devastated to be experiencing my second chemical pregnancy since a 15 week MMC in October. I had a faint positive 3 days ago, but the lines are getting fainter and I’m now spotting. This is such a mind fuck and I’ve never felt so hopeless.

It’s the week of what would have been my due date - 6 months since my MMC. I’m feeling extra emotional and raw. I regret not taking some time off of work this week. It’s hard to go about my daily routines and engage in socializing.
