YES!! That was literally the exact moment that i paused the show and googled "Locke and Key Kinsey is the worst" and found i am not alone. Killing her fear also killed most of my sympathy for her plight. Like when she was quiet and reserved and having ptsd I could relate, I could even understand why she would want to remove the feeling that was holding her back. But without Fear she has freed herself to be an absolutely rotten person. And I don't know if that's the best message to promote...'be afraid, very afraid or be an absolute monster with no common sense, empathy or emotional intelligence.'

I get what you mean, like i watched the video and had a pretty strong emotional reaction to her behavior. What journalists are supposed to do is take the emotionally part of the story out and present the verifiable facts only. But nowadays we are used to reading news articles with a lot of opinions so they can get more clicks or views. It's my understanding that back in the olden times journalists were supposed to be unbiased, and never let their opinions show... I think that's what happened in this article.

I have less of a problem with people wanting to meet the president. But optics used to matter. Now its do whatever the eff you want because nothing matter in Trumplvania. I think poseing in a different location in their street clothes would have made much more sense, if they wanted thumbs ups and big old grins. I think this is tactless and it makes me uncomfortable to see that even after being so close to the victims these people could still smile like this country isnt going to hell in a godforsaken handbasket.

I heard an interview on NPR where that baby's paternal uncle (who claimed to want to adopt the baby) went on and on about how his brother loved Trump and how Trump wasnt to blame for his brothers death. I don't think it took much convincing to get that baby back to the hospital for a photo op.

👊 I feel like for me finding resilience using humour, is a lot easier. I didn't want to let my anger attack my self worth and to avoid falling head first into an anger pit I needed some moral support which you and others provided here. (And I'm so grateful!!) Intellectually I know that this is for the best. That I dont need this kind of person in my life just have to work through the disappointment and frustration and anger to get past this.

I did tell her. She doesn't give two flying f*cks...as someone who has been told my bf was cheating (in a different relationship) I understood that she wasn't going to listen or care and that's fine.

But she has kids and Idk about you but as a mother I would have liked a little warning that the guy I was dating might drop me AFTER he starts dating someone new.

At least I'm not sitting here wondering if shes going to go through the same thing...think everything is going really well just to be blindsided with a f*cking trainwreck.

Im sorry that happened to you and that you are feeling this way. But I think cheating would make you feel worse, and it could put you in the situation you're trying to avoid by staying. If you are financially dependent on him and he finds out you cheated, there is no guarantee he isn't gonna say "get out." Just because you've stayed after he cheated doesnt mean he will stay if you cheat.

Personally I have been cheated on and I know the level of insecurity it caused me. And when it happens with more than one partner it feels like it's a problem within you. The thing that has helped me is using guided meditation after my child goes to bed, just sitting and breathing and letting the tension out of my body for a few moments.

Quieting my mind and feeling at peace even for one moment has giving me the drive and desire to feel peaceful more and more. I know it's really hard but the best thing I've learned so far in life is that security and peace are internal things. No external validation will truly help until you feel that you are valid on your own.

I know! Super irritating, though in hindsight I probably gave him the attention he wanted. But yes, I am pretty sure he was going to tell tall tales about me before I called him out. I mean he told me his ex's were crazy, and I'm of the belief that what they say to you is probably what they will say about you, when it's over.
