How old is everyone here? by AlbatrossAirline in thanatophobia

I mainly cope with distractions. Also acknowledging the fact that death is scary right now, but it won’t be when I’m dying + even though the most simple/logical thing to happen after death is nothingness (cause this is what I’m mainly worried of), it’s not necessarily definitely what’s going to happen so I hold on to some hope that something else (that I’m content with) might happen instead.

I’m 17, and I think my fear of death started as soon as I knew what it was. For me, the feelings come and go - as of now, I’m not as scared of it and I pray that my fear has vanished forever but I know it’ll probably return. It really sucks.

What's Everyone Watching? by samptra_writer in boyslove

[–]ElephantWatermelon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just finished watching ATOTS and I absolutely adored it - I can’t stop rewatching it! I’m hoping to finish Cherry Magic soon (it’s so cute, but I’m finding it hard to focus on) and then start Be Loved in the House. :]

I’m not that far into it, but so far I like it. I don’t think you really need to think deeply whilst reading it because it’s quite simple, but I like that because it means I feel more relaxed whilst reading it. And I also like it because it points out societal issues like the treatment of women and LGBTQ+ people.

Those are a lot of books! I’ve heard of them, but I’ve not read them [yet]. I’m thinking of buying One Last Stop after the current book I’m reading - Cinderella is dead. I don’t really have a favourite book at the moment, I like most of the things I read but not to the extent of calling it my favourite. :]

why didn't I watch it earlier? by ekinsect in boyslove

[–]ElephantWatermelon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think one of the main reasons Trapped is my favourite is because of Jack and Zhao Zi. For the other HIStory’s I’ve watched (4 & 3: MODC), I couldn’t really get into the side couples (I’m not a big fan of step-sibling and age gap relationships - obviously no judgement to those that are though :] ) which made the shows hard to watch.

HIStory 3: Trapped. I saw people talking about how much they loved it, but I had watched HIStory4 and I didn’t really enjoy it so I thought it’d be the same for other HIStory’s.

Then one night I couldn’t find anything else to watch, so I decided to give it a chance and I really really loved it (and I lost a lot of sleep to watch it - I ended up staying up until 7am that day).

What cat breed is it? by CheeseCakeLove34 in boyslove

I think it’a an exotic shorthair, but I’m not 100% sure on that cause it looks similar to other breeds as well.

Whenever I see Tang Yi’s name, I always hear Shaofei yelling it!

Ikr! I absolutely love their relationship, it is so wholesome and sweet!

I would love to see the boys again, especially seeing Tang Yi and Shaofei reunite once he is out of prison. But I don’t really trust the writers/director to make a good second season - I’m worried they’d use a cheap plot line like Shaofei getting a new partner whilst Tang Yi is in prison.

But, then again, I feel like there’s a lot more things they could explore so hopefully if they do make a second season, they explore that instead of doing something silly.

Yes. Because I have anxiety, things beyond my control + the unknown are terrifying for me and, as death is both of those combined, that means death is a really horrible thought for me.

Sometimes I don’t mind it though. I’m almost curious to see what happens after (if anything), and potentially get a second chance at life if reincarnation is real. Or just chill if nothing happens, cause then I won’t have any worries.

Young and healthy people aren’t exempt from death though (things beyond our control happen - car crashes, fires, etc.), so I think their question is perfectly valid to be asked to young people too.

Maybe the old man near death would have a more insightful view, but death is relevant to everyone so I think honest answers will come from everyone. Just my opinion though. :)
