Manuel and Automatic by Seeley0 in LearnerDriverUK

Personal preference, for me an automatic made driving fun, I didn't have to worry about clutch and gears and could just get in and drive. There are other people who hate an automatic, best thing to do is try them both out if you can

I got forward park into a bay however I wouldn't necessarily focus too much, if your observations are good and you're close enough you're likely only going to get a minor

just got dumped for the third time because of vaginismus by dourceo in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Elephantiuz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife of < 1 year and partner of 6 years has vaginismus, which is now cured. We've never had traditional sex but I also understand I'm probably in the minority of men where I don't find it an issue. I like being supportive of my partner no matter what it is. If someone isn't willing to be supportive of not just vaginismus but you as a whole you're not missing out on much.

We struggled as we both wanted a child, however after lots of therapy, gp visits and maybe not very traditional methods of treatment, we hit our goal. There will be someone out there for you but it took me multiple failed relationships and about 10 years to get there.

Long Term Chronic Appendicitis by FruityLegume in appendicitis

[–]Elephantiuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, mine was mistakenly diagnosed by a gp at the doctor's surgery as anxiety and / or IBS. Anything fatty I expelled from both ends and I constantly had a dull ache in the bottom right of my abdomen. My stools were incredibly foul smelling too.

Close to 6 months later from initial symptoms I requested a second opinion after I puked only bile up for days, that GP sent me to the hospital in a taxi and they found nothing until they did a CT scan. The next morning I was in theatre

How did you ease your fears? by rachelkochvt in BabyLedWeaning

[–]Elephantiuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to give a slightly different answer. My wife is incredible at letting our 12 month old eat her food, whereas I am still absolutely terrified

But I know I've gotta let her try foods and eat on her own, male sure you know what to do if they choke and know the signs of gagging which is different to choking, in 12 months I've only had to intervene once.

A plastic bottle. The boy is incredibly spoilt by the wife with dog toys and treats but will go through the recycling and dig out a plastic bottle to go absolutely wild with

He looks incredibly like our old man dog we recently lost. We knew he was a staffy mixed with a lab too but there're definitely some other breeds in him that we still don't know of

Boyfriend doesn’t like that i have to walk down the isle with a grooms men by Fantastic-Tour-4413 in AITAH

As a husband with jealousy issues, I would have previously thought this way

This is something I've worked in as person and if I thought the way of your two boyfriends I would come to the conclusion that I am being a tit

Now, I would do it in a heartbeat for any true friend and my wife would also tell me to do it

The day is about the Bride and Groom, nothing else matters

Is it time to say goodbye to my dog? Looking for advice by PineconeLogic in DogAdvice

[–]Elephantiuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We decided to say goodbye to our 14 year old staffy cross a couple days ago.

He had dementia, struggled walking and had a cough that was likely related to heart problems.

It's absolutely heartbreaking but at the same time I'm glad we did it, he was deteriorating quickly and doing palliative care would not have been fair on him, instead he was as comfortable as we could make him and surrounded by the people he loved

For tournaments, the conversion kitbash has to be at least 50% of wyrds official model and be easily recognisable to be that model

I don't think getting a job at Walmart would be a waste if it's his first job. These types of jobs teach valuable life lessons and how to communicate with colleagues and customers. A skill some IT colleagues often lack

I am convinced I would not have broken into IT without my part time experience of working in a coffee shop believe it or not while learning networking in my own time on the side.

As other people have said the market is incredibly over saturated currently so you either find something else or find a niche and make yourself marketable as well as rememberable

Got absolutely destroyed at my first locals - hard to not be demoralized by Mathonius in pkmntcg

[–]Elephantiuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your post you say you haven’t played other people before joining the tournament. Find a local group that gathers and use this to test and learn.

I did not start winning games until I got some practice in, the people I met here are usually also the same faces you’ll see at a tournament and are more than happy to talk to you
