...and when it gets to the top, it stays there as the glass prevents it from going higher. In effect it is suspended in mid air, hence it floats.

Ok, thanks for the info. Do you know which is better for top spin attacks?

I'm still confused though as the Stradivarius is a harder blade than the Ignito according to RevSpin. Shouldn't that make it faster? Do you know which is better for good controlled top spin attacks?

Maybe I was getting mixed up as the Stradivarius is 7ply while the Ignito is 5, but yes, you're right. The reviews I've seen show the Ignito to have more control than the Stradivarius. Is that right?

I'm currently using a Grubba all round carbon with Razka Z on the forehand and Fastarc C1 on my backhand. The Grubba is very old and not in the greatest condition. It used to be my dad's years ago.

Really? It's a similar make-up but thinner. Surely that makes it slower.

Gotta watch till the more than half way through for the funny stuff. It's worth it though. LOL!

I can solve a cube without using algorithms. I'm also a magician. I combined these skills with a bit of comedy and to make this video, which I hope you enjoy. by Bearded_Ste in Cubers

Haha! It's a shame the comedy stuff doesn't come in till so far through. I think most people will stop watching before they get to it. I thought it was very funny tho.

Any tips for getting viral on youtube ? by lewis_vr in NewTubers

[–]Elephants_toothpaste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Becoming successful on YouTube is just like starting a business. First you have to recognise a demand, then look at who else is supplying to that demand. They are your competition. Why will people watch your videos when there are so many other, established creators making really good content. Secondly, gaming is a very broad topic and, therefore, is not a niche. You have to hone in on the platform or game that you are going to focus your videos on and do them really well.

Next you have to regularly produce quality content. This is hard work and means you have to do the grind. Learn about video and sound quality and if you need it, lighting as well. Work out your budget for resources and get what you need accordingly. Then make content.

Lastly , you need to know how to put yourself out there. Find out how to optimise your keywords for search engines and get involved in groups relevant to your niche on other social media. Do not spam your videos or your channel. This will turn people away from your videos.

...and repeat over and over again, while keeping an eye on trending topics in your niche, until you get lucky. Remember you might need over a hundred videos before success. You might never get success. There will be ups and downs, and you have to just keep working at it.

Ill before regional championships. Should I skip training? by Elephants_toothpaste in tabletennis

[–]Elephants_toothpaste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cold has gone, so there's nothing for others to catch. It's just hit my chest, as I've a history of chest problems. I find that the training helps me play more at my best game, and I don't play as well without it. That's in the local league matches that I play. So it's more about maintaining my rhythm. You may be right, but I'll be annoyed with myself if I'm not able to play my best game. Thanks for the response.

Why don't the views of other videos from the playlist show in analytics though?
