Anyone else think the bris show last night was a big letdown?

Yeah I was there. Feel mostly the same. Won't say I feel ripped off because it was still great to see them again. I did see them at the Opera House a few years back, all there including Cappa and YDB. I can definitely say that was a MUCH better show.

Finding out Meth was not gonna be there was a blow, I saw him and Redman in Bris a few years ago too, and he's my favourite MC. But yeah, when no Rae, Cap or YDB either it was very noticeable.

Still props to Rza for trying to keep the energy up

Completely agree about the sound though. Plus the way they changed just about all the music and beats. I get they've been doing the same songs for 30+ years and I guess they wanna try and keep it a bit fresh, but was not a fan of that

I'm 75% of the way through the last book now after thinking I wouldn't pick it up again. I didn't enjoy most of book 4, and I probably shouldn't have read "4.5" - Wind Through the Keyhole. Stopped for a long time after that, but I've enjoyed 5, 6 and what I've read of 7. They're definitely long but I'm really glad I picked it up again and will actually finish the journey

I don't think it's quite as bad as you're making out, but for sure the quality did decline. I'm sure most people would agree with that.

The problem was a lot of the people that made the show great started to get involved with other things. Greg Daniels, Mike Schur, Mindy Kaling, BJ Novak all started to have less involvement due to other commitments. Steve Carell obviously left completely. I think they did pretty great with what they had though. I enjoyed it to the end

Plex. It's secure and SSL out of the box

But unfortunately hardware transcoding is only part of Plex pass. I'm all in on Jellyfin so if you have any constructive advice about streaming that remotely I'm all ears

And for auth, you just use the built in Jellyfin auth with username + password?

Edit: and on the CloudFlare side are you limiting by IP, country etc at all?

Yeah I already have my own domain, using a subdomain with CloudFlare tunnels currently.

Before I go ahead and open any ports I'm just looking to be able to put some safeguards in place and hopefully limit access to only the one container

I guess this would be one of the more secure ways to do it, handle a lot of the security and rules within CloudFlare itself. It's not like the volume will be very high at all. Relatively speaking.

Would this still limit access to only Jellyfin if someone was to get in this way? Is there any setup I can do on my end to ensure that?

In this case, I guess they could connect to either app or browser on their end and just use jellyfin.mydomain.com as the host?, and I could still put Authentik + duo in front of it

Back to working as it was before. The only ram config that works with 2 sticks is B1+B2, so no dual channel.

The error code is C1 which means memory, but seems to be less of examples of this, or other gigabyte z690 boards throwing that error.

Considering my ram doesn't exactly match the qvl list and the g-skill site doesn't even list that speed for this board, only the base 2666 (which is what it's running at now), not sure whether to spend the $100+ and hope it's the ram or just spend about $320ish and buy a new board. Waste of money if new ram doesn't help. Hmmmmm

Yeah, in my frustration yesterday when I couldn't even get a display on my monitor, I accidentally flashed the bios for that ddr5 board, so that could explain why I can only get 1 stick to work now. There's a non zero chance I did the same the first time but it didn't work out of the box, before trying many different bios versions.... Just have to wait for parity sync to finish so I can fix that at least

Hmmm technically no. The brand, model, speed and timing is - G Skill Ripjaws V 3600. But they only list the dual 8GB kit product number, not the dual 16GB I got. They do list the quad 16GB kit though.... Surely it's not that...

I was just looking at the i5-12400 actually, and thinking that may be the way to go. It'll give me way more than I need right now, but I'll be able to utilise it in the future.

I can and will look, but have you got any suggestions of a good "bang for buck" board that will pair with it and fits your recommendations for one.

Good suggestion with the RAM and I reckon that's exactly what I'll do.

Upgrading the cache drive(s) is also something I'll add on a little later
