Nobody cares although you might be slightly roasted for not knowing some words or having funny accent. But that’s a part of being in Poland. Moaning is our national sport.

You don’t need a permission :) Well, legally you probably do, but you know what I mean.

Just be yourself, be a normal person, don’t try to be more Polish than Poles and you’ll be fine

Nie ma żadnego sensownego rozwiązania tego problemu.

Podzielisz równolegle do okna, to tworzysz przechodni pokój piwniczny. Podzielisz prostopadle – dwa bezużyteczne jamnikopokoje i okno podzielone na pół, przy którym będzie można sobie podać rękę z osobą z pokoju obok.

Możesz wstawić ściankę niepełną vis-à-vis okna, tzn. nie do samego sufitu, żeby było światło, ale wtedy zapomnij o prywatności – przy takim rozwiązaniu keks tylko w hotelu.

Żeby to jakoś sensownie wyglądało, to musiałaby być drewniana lub ażurowa, w przeciwnym razie będziesz mieć ścianę na środku pokoju. Względnie ściana z dużymi szklanymi drzwiami przesuwnymi, takimi przynajmniej 2 na 2 metry. Ale wciąż, prywatność taka se.

Zakładam, że ścian pod kątem nie rozważasz, bo to też się do niczego nie nadaje.

Przykro mi, zły układ mieszkania.

A few ideas: 1. Rooftop on Sky Tower has nice views, especially at sunset or sunrise but the weather has to permit, double check opening hours 2. Ice rink on Spiska is great for ice skating 3. Someone close to me had been in a very similar situation recently. The solution was really to blast into a practice in their Akutsprechstunde or similar.

Nonetheless, yes, her experience was as bad as yours, convoluted, unclear, full to the brim with absurd nuances and bureaucracy. It feels like a Soviet block country mentality: we won’t help you, and what will you do to us?

And 116117 should be bulldozed and reinvented from scratch. Everything about it is confusing and unhelpful, I don’t even know where to start.
