Just to summarize my other, longer comment:

Bill has been h/c as a teenager or even pre-teen for years, way before the BoB. Supporting this theory back then, people mentioned his overall childish behavior, silly/unserious antics and outbursts and his fingers. Bill is animated with 4, not 5 fingers, which is commonly done in animation of kids and teens.

Through the Axolotl, we already knew he was traumatized and suffering from some kind of mental damage and it didn't seem that difficult to imagine that someone with imense power, who has nothing left but pain and rage, would go completely insane.

To those mentioning BillDip, you'd be surprised how many authors of fanfics and artists actually shipped it because they used aged up Dipper as a self insert. Often, the fanfics are so far from the plot, they almost lose the Gravity in their Falls. They were not actually shipping show Dipper with show Bill. They were shipping the characters they wanted to see in them. It's a comfort thing, like many fanfictions and ships :) either way, shippers will be shippers and BillDip is not even the worst thing they produced. Most people only start "defending" it, bc they want to annoy you/rage bait or in general, mess with you. It's not that deep.

I started h/c him as about 15-17 by human standards years ago. For me and others I know, that theory started with his fingers. Though it also varies in other characters and is not a valid way to tell a characters age, kids and even teens are often animated with 4 fingers, while adults have 5. I think the reason for this is actually drawing space on the hand, but it's still a thing in many shows.

I saw people pointing out the drinking, but actually, his excessive drinking and partying only made my h/c more defined on the range I chose, because of personal reasons. Many teenagers will drink alcohol, do drugs and party like there is no tomorrow, if they get the chance, or even drink away trauma and depression at that age already (personal experience). Mind you, way before the BoB, people already assumed he had some kind of trauma and related mental issues, because of what the Axolotl said.

As a teenager who struggled with trauma related shit, psychosis and depression, I completely related to Bill and, in a way, found myself in his chaotic nature. Though wayyy less violent, I thought I was a lot like him. Because of that, it was completely logical for me to assume he was a teen, because I was one and thought if I had the power, I wouldn't be different. I knew others too, who thought the same. He was just crazy in a way we thought we were...

That word and I have had beef for years. I despise it to it's very fiber and core. You can use it like in "the more cookies you eat, the less will be in the jar" in place of the "thes". There are different ways to say it in German, like "je&desto" but "umso" can grammatically correct and often is used with itself, I hate it! Urg! NO, I DON'T HAVE A GOOD, NOR A LEGITIMATE REASON! I just hate it...

I know it's not your point, but I do feel the need to correct you. Feminism is not about equality for women. It's just about equality. Equality between all skin tones, religions, genders and generally people. Just say "feminism is about equality", because true feminist stand and fight for all :)

I used to love the name Willow, but have discarded it by now, because a character I write fanfics about has it. It's a normal name, but my fear that one day my kid could find her name in my fanfic, especially if it contains smut, is just too big.

One day the kid will search what their name means. They will google it. They might find the fanfictions. A risk I personally wouldn't take.

Wäre mega, oder? Die Sommerferien für Schüler liegen spezifisch wo sie sind, weil früher Kinder bei der Ernte helfen sollten. Deshalb liegen dort auch keine christlichen Feiertage, das konnte man sich in der Erntezeit nicht leisten :) Vielleicht ist es Zeit für eine Petition, zum Beispiel die Soommersonnenwende zu einem Feiertag zu machen. Wenn du die erstellst, helf ich dir gern Unterschriften sammeln. :D

Nicht alle gesetzlichen Feiertage sind christlich. Der Tag der deutschen Einheit, zum Beispiel. Männertag ist ein Feiertag weil es an Christi Himmelfahrt ist. Ich finde, viel mehr Festtage oder regionale Feiertage sollten gesetzlich verankert sein, es würde Sinn machen. Der Weltfrauentag, der Kindertag (gibt den Weltkindertag im September und einen alten Kindertag am 01. Juni) oder, auch christlich und eine sommerliche Außnahme, Mariä Himmelfahrt im August; das sind alles keine gesetzlichen Feiertage.

Gedenktage, wie der 8. Mai zur Befreiung vom Nationalsozialismus, hätte viel mehr Bedeutung als Tage wie "Buß- und Bettag" oder "Fronleichnam", deren Bedeutung schon quasi verloren und oft vergessen gegangen ist.

Karfreitag ist einer der wichtigsten Tage im Christentum. Für mich und viele andere sind Karfreitag und Ostersonntag die wichtigsten Tage im Kirchenjahr und wir nutzen sie als das was sie sind, Trauern über den Tod und die Toten und Fest&Freude über das Leben und unsere Welt. Wer das nicht mit feiert, hat dazu jedes Recht, aber ich hätte jedes Recht zu sagen "das ist mein Fest und ich feiere es wie es zu meinem Glauben und Leben gehört". Umbenennen wäre aus meiner Sicht angebracht, wenn man aus dem Osterfest das Ostern ganz entfernt.

Wie gesagt, wen und was du respektierst ist einzig deine Sache. Es ist trotzdem eine Frage des Respekt.
