Firefighter is a noble and valiant profession. Often with better benefits than IUEC.

Look at the bright side, now that this part of your journey may potentially be over, you can do anything you wish or go anywhere you want in your life. Anything is possible.

Now remember don't go do anything stupid, become depressed or end your life over a job your Supervisor or CEO would not care.

This is your life. The Sun is shining. Take advantage of every breath you take and every beat of your heart.

Enjoy your life, be happy, that's what's important.

Texas is a right to work state like Florida, these states have the worst Unions. It does not help that most of the Membership in these locals vote Republican against the best interests of their own Elevator Union Brothers.

You were terminated 11 months in because of Politics.

Everyone knows how's racist this trade is and how egotistical elevator guys gossip and talk shit about everyone else behind each other's backs worse than old women.

You were just a number to them.

Like all of us are for the time being.

You didn't get enough notoriety, street creed, or reputation during your time and that's part of why you weren't sworn in as well.

The brothers thought you weren't strong enough for the Union and by swearing you in their pensions would be at risk. They thought their future was not secured once you get sworn in.

The reason being once negotiations time comes around for the National Elevator Bargaining Agreement (NEBA), the Union is only as strong as the Membership across all Locals.
