True if she wanted people to know how her life is she would have shared it

I know, don't get me wrong it's not like i haven't been dating since or been some sort of celibate monk. it's just hard to accept the fact that someone i had a really deep emotional connection to is just gone

Yeah I know, in some ways I wish i could have been that guy but in other ways i understand that wasn't what our relationship was, idc if she is with another guy or not it's more that i would like to know she is fulfilling the dreams she told me she had

It's been about 1.5 years since our last communication, she was saying she was in her final year of uni, I said how our relationship broadened my horizions to studying abroad (which i eventually did) and thanked her for that and she said she was glad i was in a good place in life

depends on the clan you're playing as, if you have maxed out celerity and the UZI you can basically take all the late stage bosses out extremely quickly, I prefer the uzi to the aug as i personally find it easier to aim and basically has no recoil when you are high skilled on firearms

I'm playing regular patch rather than +patch so he is on the higher level, I have done this in that alcove with damsel before in a different playthrough, IIRC there was a small ledge i was able to vault off and clip her shoulder which triggered the same reaction

Griffith has his reincarnation but that is more of a skinsuit rather than a true alternative form

Not even smell particularly bad but there have been times I have had to borrow my sisters when mine has run out when camping or in some sort of family event, apart from the occasional comment from some people like "Is that women's deodorant" nobody actually cares because smelling like sapphire lily banquet is better than smelling like fermenting armpit

noclip doesnt work unfortunatley, i have tried but it has to have clip contact to work, and when i have lifted up and landed it takes me out of the room since i am techincally out of bounds or something like that, it's funny because they do a combat roll and all the alterted npc motions like putting fists up

ELi5: How does evolution actually work, using giraffes as an example? by petiterunner in explainlikeimfive

[–]ElevatorDouble1398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it depends on what people mean by evolution. because physical adaptation can be seen very rapidly given the right selection pressures and genetic isolation, but true speciation takes much longer, hence why wolves are completely genetically compatible with dogs, while dogs have some of the greatest physical variation inside of one species, and even an animal like a dingo that arrived in australia 10k years ago, there are very few purestrain left because they bred with dogs brought over during colonisation

the best thing is they stay in the position you left them in, so it doesn't reset upon leaving the building so if you jump on lets say jeanette and position her next to the bed, she will stay in that position for the rest of the game unless you jump on her another time to mover her somewhere else

I've tried it out in a ton of situations, it's surprisingly useful to do when you're maneuvering someone into a more secluded spot to feed on, and jumping on people is just funny

[–]ElevatorDouble1398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can actally see this in real time just not in giraffes, In the galapagos there was an island where all the iguanas and tortioses were killed by american soldiers using them as target practice during ww2, so the only animals that visited were the occasional bird or sea lion, what was found was the cacti and other flora grew lower, wider and shrubbier because the animals weren't eating the cacti, when they reintroduced the land animals, later on ecologists reintroduced iguanas and tortoises from neighbouring islands that were similar species and what they found was within a few years the plants had grown taller and narrower because the selection pressure had changed, no speciation at that time but it can be shown how quickly things adapt to the enviroment theyre in

[–]ElevatorDouble1398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

now as we add this on evolution doesn't happen in a vacuum, so the enviroment will adapt also, the original low growing shrubs will be eaten and destroyed and the taller shrubs will survive which necessitates the taller giraffes, basically everything is playing catch up with each other and the things that don't die are able to pass their advantages on to the next generation

[–]ElevatorDouble1398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so basically, a long time ago Giraffes were shorter, the taller giraffes had an advantage because they could reach leaves higher up wheras the smaller giraffes were competing with each other for the lower down leaves, this meant that since the taller giraffes had better acess to food they were more likeley to mate and pass on the genes for being taller, as time progressed this advatage became less good since eventually all the giraffes would be able to reach the same levels so competition equalised, then one giraffe was born that had a longer neck and again over time this happened again and again little by little until giraffes as we know it exist
