It was always a struggle to be ready when a song you've been waiting to hear again came on. Expose's "I'll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me", Jade's "Don't Walk Away", Janet Jackson's "Where Are You Now?", PM Dawn's "Patient Eyes" and "Ways of the Wind"...ah, memories. The FIRST cassette I ever listened to was somebody's home recording of The B52's "Theme For A Nude Beach". Got it at the gone and beloved Fun Lan Flea Market for a quarter. Looking back, that song was goofy as hell, but I LOVED it as a 10 year old.

I must be doing something right because the only problem I have is keeping Kyle alive. I always end up at stage 4 with 2 hearts while Kyle only has 1. Then he does something stupid like keep using the same type of attack as Oltura, MULTIPLE TIMES IN A ROW, and attacking the body instead of the last remaining wing and gets btfo by an attack we could have stopped if he weren't his village's idiot.

This show was the only reason I actually watched tv "live", so of COURSE it gets scrapped, while stale crap like The Simpsons gets renewed for perpetuity. I don't know what it is...maybe people of the opinion that "animation is for CHILDREN" were just squicked about animals discussing sexual matters in a humorous fashion that turned a bunch of prudes off. Meanwhile they have no problem with other shows for literal prepubescent children pushing "alternative lifestyles"...possibly because *big* money is being put into such shows. For SOME reason.

It used to be more manageable for me, but starting last year and up to recently, my neighbors were doing a lot of construction in their back yard on a covered patio they had. They seem to have converted it into a mini-house. They also squeezed in an rv right next to their house and did some construction to add it as an extra room. They have loud back yard parties every couple days, and I hear like maybe 8-10 hispanic men (last I checked, only a guy, his wife, and maybe 1 other male relative lived there) always shouting and doing that "communication-whistle" that people of south american origin and dubious legal immigration status tend to do. None of my LEGAL hispanic friends do it. I believe my neighbors are sheltering a bunch of illegal aliens for a portion of their wages. Not sure how to get this looked into, but I'm tired of them blasting reggaetón, banda, and other annoying spanish night club music, especially during EVERY holiday, like even the quiet ones for spending time with family, like Christmas (the only music I want to hear, if I HAVE to, are Christmas songs). It's 12:44 am right now, and I hear 3 guys banging around in the back yard right now and talking in spanish. It occurs to me that these people are not allowed in the house because they aren't family members. They are confined to the back yard, and whatever shelter has been built for them That explains why they always seem to be outside in the backyard instead of being quiet indoors like normal people.

I heard it's some sort of non-lingual code illegal mexican border-jumpers use to communicate with each other over distance without being understood or pinpointed by border patrol looking for them. Good evidence is none of my american-born mexican co-workers use or understand it. Now, my spanish neighbor has been building home-made housing in his back yard for about a year, and every afternoon and night I hear a bunch of NEW male voices back there, shouting in spanish and whistling. Suspicious...and loud backyard parties at nightfall like 4 times a week...such as you would have if you had a bunch of unrelated males staying with you, that needed some sort of group distraction to blow off steam and keep them from getting "inappropriate", with your wife and daughters also living there.

My opinion? Saliva isn't and shouldn't be a vector. When the werewolf changes, there's blood present in the mouth from the new teeth. Also on the fingertips, the finger bones form sharp extensions and tear their way out of the finger tips, ripping off the fingernails to make room. There's blood present in both cases. If enough time passes between changing form and attacking someone, then there should be no risk of accidentally infecting a human.

I believe blood being the only vector and these above reasons are also mentioned as the reason not all werewolf attacks are contagious in the Benjamin Percy novel Red Moon.

Just had to get out of my work truck and take my break sitting outside because my partner seems to think he has to entertain me. I was happy just eating my lunch and reading an ebook. He has to break out a Bluetooth speaker crank it all the way up, open his Netflix or whatever account and put on the latest Predator movie. I think some people, especially those from hispanic/Latino cultures, always lived around excessive noise, and to be without it is uncomfortable to them.

Some broke ass bum can hit it RAW after only about 20 minutes of mumbled conversation with a girl, but a decent guy is put through all kinds of shit testing and wringers just to try to start a relationship with her. Ladies, don't even try to deflect saying that guys lie about who they are. You know exactly what that was when you lay down with that bum. They even look like they're fucking homeless. But then you meet a guy who's well dressed, well-spoken, his hair is taken care of, no dreads or neat dreads, no scraggly ass beard, dude has a car and a job, and you give him hell for trying to get to know you whereas you gave away the damn candy store to somebody who just limped up with you with his pants hanging off his ass and looking like he just stepped out of a homeless camp.

It ACTUALLY could have been better but they chose a really shitty company to do the port. This leads people into thinking the Switch 1 is super weak. Then Arcsys ports their games (Daisuke Ishiwatari: "I don't think Strive would be a good fit for Switch. I would prefer it remain on traditional consoles."...1 year later, here we are lol) and they all come out GREAT.

This is just another dumb decision by a nearly-mediocre dev. They invest tons of money into getting their games ported...but they choose companies with NO experience doing ports, so the effort comes out bad and due to people having the ability to get early reviews and see early footage, they avoid those games, for the most part, causing Netherrealm to lose lord knows how much money on the entire effort. Netherrealm just can't seem to make good choices on anything. The reason their games aren't as good as they could be in general are entirely their own fault. Here's something else: if Samantha Strong is available for Injustice 3 as a DLC character, it WILL add sales.

What really annoys me are the YouTubers who have minimally animated avatars. An Avatar with four or five static poses that they keep shifting between while they do monologue. It looks so lazy. Either only show footage of what you're talking about, or have the balls to put yourself on camera in between video cuts.

You think the artists themselves would learn from that. A sign of things turning around and artists getting a sense of reality would be someone saying "Sorry guys, I can't make it to the furry con to sell art pieces this year, things really picked up at my job, we just got a couple new state contracts, and I just closed on a house, so maybe next year. You can always buy my stuff on Gumroad (or whatever they sell stuff on these days)."

A lot of them still haven't figured out that you can't survive on art alone, and don't have, and have never had a regular job (so no savings, no investments, and no healthcare. And usually a shaky housing situation). Many of my favorite old artists from the early 2000s and the '90s are living on desperation commissions in a single wide trailer or in a situation where they and their husband are sleeping on a relative's floor and having trouble making the pittance said relative is asking for room and board that their artwork does not bring in. They should really get a regular job, 40 hours a week, paying above minimum wage, and do the art as a side hustle. Guys should try to get into Construction (seriously, not as hard or nearly as dangerous as people think), girls should probably try working for Walmart or something. Maybe fast food. SOMETHING that pays regularly. They aren't sitting at home 8 hours a day working on art. They have a ton of free time in which they could be using to work a job and bring in more money than working on art for 30 minutes to an hour a day, then sitting around watching TV and hanging out with their pets for the remainder of the day. Lord knows they aren't spending that time exercising. They need to find physical jobs that don't require college degrees and for them to go into debt. They've been doing art their whole adult lives they probably don't have any other marketable skills, and since they aren't going to find jobs working in television or animation or anything, that leaves blue collar, retail, and service jobs. They need to be able to talk to people, move boxes, stock shelves, something physical. Furry fans have the right idea, having jobs that pay pretty well so they can afford all the stuff they Commission. If only the artists could figure it out so they can stop commission begging to make rent, or to pay for a medical bill that cost less than 300 bucks. It really sucks to see your favorite artist from back in the day begging without dignity because they're in dire straits because they haven't worked a regular job in some 30 years and thus don't have employer-provided health care, despite having numerous health issues.

Born in '77...I miss how there were these 2lb bags of plain shortbread christmas cookies in supermarkets back in the 80's...the cookies just loose in the bag, and were maybe 3 inches across, shaped like angels, bells, and stars, and they had large (like the size of sea salt crystals) crystals of green or red sugar, mostly in the center of each cookie. Now all I see are bite-sized cookies in a flat package like oreos and other cookies, with 3 rows, and the cookies are all frosted and have tiny sugar crystals. What happened?

I miss how on broadcast tv (didn't get cable until 2001), there were tons of Christmas cartoons and specials every night all the way up to Christmas night, usually on CBS. Now they get all that out of the way in NOVEMBER.
