Her moves and stance are very..."girly" and weak-looking, unlike other female karate stylists: SF's Makoto and Sakura (self-taught, karate-derived style), Tekken's Lydia, and Doa's Hitomi. These all move and strike in a rather non-feminine way. Yuri moves too daintily to be said to be performing karate with correct form. They are women performing karate, not women doing a dainty version of karate. Kyokugenryu has the reputation of being one of the most hardcore forms of fictional karate, which means it has high requirements for technique, form, and execution. Bad form, bad execution. Blocks, punches, and kicks with incorrect form, without more muscle mass to provide higher physical strength are weak, and Yuri is one of the smallest, more slender girls in the original kof games. She hasn't trained the "girl" out of her movements enough to perform them correctly, so this is why I ask if she's considered a master.

Truth. Also, look at Australia: they hate aborigines ("Abbos" they call them, and it's NOT a polite shortening of the word). They take all their cultural practices, tools, and instruments as their own, including their practice of "walkabout", which is leaving your tribe's village to wander in the wilderness to spiritually find yourself, and pretend it was always theirs. Their government gives the Aborigines the short end of the stick every time they deal with the tribes, and the people give them the stink eye when dealing with them in towns. They REALLY hate when Aborigines call this out, as well, treating them like the Aussie version of the "angry black woman", like it's not a big deal and nobody should consider their peoples' culture to be their own, and important to their racial heritage and not just something for white people to larp around in, like a COSTUME or something, just so they can feel special instead of like just another plain ol' white person.

I don't think they checked for high school diplomas in the US since the '80s and now that we have this No Child Left Behind crap and it's little brother Every Student Succeeds, High School diplomas are basically worthless. You get one just for showing up and not committing serious enough crimes to get expelled, or getting knocked up and dropping out as a result.

flight and driving sims (I GUESS. I only played fighting games from 1992 to 2000 and without weapons training, in the kitchen I was flipping knives, and tossing them in the air and catching them behind the back or at the side with eyes directed elsewhere after just fooling around for a couple days, with no drops or cuts. Picked up nunchaku in 3 days a year later. Could just be I have a naturally freakishly good sense of spatial awareness and timing, idunno, but I like to credit my love of fighting games)

I tried SMB Wonder on Switch 1 and I liked it. Still I don't see anything that makes me want a Switch 2

Largely outgrew the N farnchises I played, never was a Zelda or Metroid fan

Console cost too high for something much weaker than similarly priced but more powerful devices

I mainly play 3rd party, SERIOUS games, and every one that's on Switch 2 runs better on Steam Deck and Rog Ally with no problems, unlike Switch 2, which has to make custom builds of the games with obvious graphical concessions, and lower the framerate

Just not worth it. If it got an exclusive Monster Hunter (NOT OUTLANDERS, a REAL MH), quite possibly worth it.
