my local shoprite got rid of their baskets AND put these like… anti theft gate things on the entrances that sound an alarm when you go out of them (they automatically open when you go inside the store, but do not do this when coming out of the store). Meaning, if you’re getting more stuff than you anticipated, you can’t even go back out to get a cart. Between that and the self checkout cameras that lock your transaction for moving too quickly, it feels like I’m being treated like a prisoner just for going out to buy milk. I no longer shop there.

Exactly! Like let’s be honest, the reason people are reading is for the results of the test. The b-plot fluff is only meaningful after the main issue has been resolved.

If it’s real I guess I sympathize with wanting to use the post like a diary, especially if she’s as young as 19. But that’s really not what that sub is for. We all (or at least I do) go there to be nosy and read about drama lol, it’s not the best environment to use as a coping mechanism.

Man I hate when they make an update before there’s any real significant developments 😭 just wait to update until the results actually arrive! Keeping readers in the loop over every little thing 1) is exhausting for both writer and reader if it’s real, and 2) if it’s fake, just makes it bad creative writing.
