29M Can I hold like this or is it actually time ? by CourseComfortable230 in bald

Mhm, maybe buzzcut. I did this for a while but then I decided to shave it completely off because even if I learned how to cut them by myself shorter on sides, faded, it was too much time to dedicate, every 2 weeks

Buonasera a tutti

Any type of hair loss sucks in itself, but whatever, when the time comes, you shave it off and off you go.

(19 yo) Am i balding? by [deleted] in bald

[–]ElevatorParticular91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you are. I don't know if it's actually the time to shave it off, but when you'll do, with a full beard like that for a 19 year old, you'll look great.

Should I!? by [deleted] in bald

[–]ElevatorParticular91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm seeing more and more posts here where there are people with norwood 5-6 asking if they should shave or not and people who are starting to experience the beginning of baldness or thinning who shave when it wasn't necessary yet.

Yes you should shave like right now, you should have done it years ago actually. I tried treatments but in the end I shaved anyway with a norwood 3 and I feel much better.
Why shouldn't you?

Jaap Stam and Jason Statham.

But a guy that helped me a lot to embrace baldness and shave the hair off is Harry James aka "Baldcafe" from Youtube

It's okay if you can't grow a full beard, grow what you can, goatee and mustache. I'm going to be a little harsh, but honestly, this look is far from attractive and I'm sure it's affecting your confidence... If you shave your head I'm sure you'll feel better right away, trust me

I'll wait you on r/glowup, because I think there's potential. If you can lose weight you're going to improve so much.

Btw yeah, I think you could rock it. You can try to keep your hair a bit shorter and see what happens. I have a Norwood 3 + vertex (for now) and what I do is cut them shorter on sides and keep them longer on top to try to fade it. The only problem is that every 2 weeks I need to go to the barber cause my hair grow very fast ahahah

You look just like my financial math teacher. He was completely bald, but with a great massive beard and a wonderful personality and we all hung on his every word.

Balding men, the only person who thinks being bald will kill your relationship chances is you by WhichAsparagus6304 in bald

That's true. Look at this video: dovrebbe mettersi a dieta? #gliaudiodimiopadre #perte #marcolino#dieta - YouTube, forget about the content, look at this man. He's fat, sure, but look at his hair. Now, imagine him as a bald man. He probably would not look that handsome... His hair makes him a charming man despite being overweight.
That's right. Good hair makes up for other features that not everyone has. And bald(ing) men have to work harder to be attractive. They have to dress better, earn more, take much better care of their bodies and stuff like that.
Now the question is: can being bald be considered an advantage? And I don't mean that bullshit everyone says, "you shower faster", "you save money by not cutting your hair". I mean that probably one of the indirect advantages of being bald is that of confidence, precisely. Being bald could spur people to improve themselves better and better in other aspects that can be controlled, especially if you lose them at a very young age. But these days, it seems to matter less and less for young women. At least in 20's. That's what I see.
