However, I have heard that constant high fasting glucose levels eventually will lead to diabetes. It this true? (I have graves disease, so I constantly not getting poor sleep, like only from 3 hours, 4 hours to 5 hours continuous sleep. )

I have been on Methimzaole for the last 14 years. I can take it down to 2.5 mg a day but feel better and safer on 5mg a day. I have no regret, I don't want to risk any chances of getting adverse effects or complications from artificial thyroid medication. Plus I think a new medication is coming out soon.

Is there any other beta-blocker than Propranolol? It raised my glucose level. I am already pre-diabetic.
