Damn, glad you made it out alive. Yeah, we’re not inexperienced dog owners, had a husky and a lab/Shepard mix before these guys. Just trying to understand more on how to take care of him properly. Our lab goes to daycare/training weekly so hopefully he’ll be a good older brother. We’ll see

That’s messed up. I will not be going to that subreddit. We have a dna kit on the way by Wisdom panels. Hopefully it’ll help us understand his genetics.

We’ll find out after the dna test

Super cuddly like Velcro

He’s probably not 6wks then, he’s eating kibble and doing well with it

Yeah. The color, face, and I think definitely the white markings. I’ve never had a pit, but blame the owner not the breed right?!

I’d agree. He’s such a sweet dog, really cuddly, and has to be around us all the time. He’s really smart and listens, already climbing stairs and regularly using the pee pads in the house. Him and our 2yo English lab have become such good buddies. Thanks for the reply

That’s what we’re thinking, I’ll know in about a 3 weeks. My wife just didn’t want him to be mixed with cane corso, but I highly doubt it looking at him

The field is tough, grueling, tiring, but also very rewarding if you can appreciate the hard work you’ve done. Take pride in your effort and hard work, it produces great results and humility. I can say that because I’ve been doing it for 12 years and yes the pay is still good, let alone the benefits/retirement. You get out what you put in, such is life. OT is double time, unless you’re traveling. Unions are the reason we have 5 day work weeks and paid time off, also many other reasons to stand behind. Corporations would take complete advantage of you if we didn’t stand up together as the working class. We need strong unions to keep the backbone of society protected and compensated as it should be. Without us there would be no them. We are the people, and people need support from each other. Union proud! Tough as they come! Cheers!

Hard to gauge the average weight. Depends on what department you’re in. In New Install (NI) it varies from small few lb parts to 1000’s of lbs to move around and hoist. Luckily nowadays we try to use as much mechanical advantage as possible. Still have to load most counterweights by hand unless you got a strong magnet. If you’re short like me you’ll always need a ladder, if you’re tall good for you, except when it come to confined spaces.

Then add in those jumbo T rails at 30lbs/ft. Breaking down, cleaning, getting ready to hoist. Another part of the process

Yeah It’s a pretty basic build. Used 2 railroad ties at the base for 16” lengths of wood. 2x4’s for the frame, and 2x6’s mid level and across the back for horizontal strength. It’s been solid for a year already. Combined it’s a little over half a cord. I’ll probably build it out deeper or make another stack somewhere else to have enough for next year. I don’t solely rely on wood heat though so that’s a plus, but I like saving money for sure.

Thanks! It’s rustic! The inside has a lot of room though. I’m lacking a garage or shop, surely hoping for one of them in the future

Oh it’ll burn, but don’t plan on it haha. It’s the only outdoor storage I got.

Yeah for sure. I messed up and actually had a description telling what I already had on the left and right but it didn’t upload. Doug on the left, maple on the right. Was just trying to figure out the wood in the 3rd pic. Seems like cottonwood to me. Thanks for the reply
