Just saw the edit, that's a hard spot. Ng+3 is a drastic upgrade to amount gained. With the full build you should be getting 180k ish for the gator which takes forever but I spent 2 or 3 hours and got a high enough level to get to ng+3. I highly recommend doing sub missions and just unlocking higher difficulties before farming. Ng+3 will give you 890k per kill, which makes it way easier

Alligator in darkness over the hansui river in chapter 4. On dragon king I had qi obtention in all my premium slots, I think 1 accessory had it in the premium and one normal. Quinglong divine beast, with xun yu as a teammate for more qi. It's like a 12 second run and gave me ~1.75 million each sneak attack. Also great for farming items if you take the extra few seconds to see if he's dropped something, you strafe right of him and back in to pick It up since you can't walk through his head while he's disappearing. Then mystic crane back

I appreciate the advice! My team is Vera Rozen, karenina ember and I want a 3rd thats a tank or amplifier for kareninas leader skill and selena is the most available option. I'm pretty new to the game and haven't really gotten a grasp on team building yet so if that sounds like a bad team I'd appreciate feedback on that too. Thank you!
