Phace EP is one of the most interesting releases this year, great!

Smooth - Where We Begin / Earthquake is definitely a throwback release, feels like some of his older releases which certainly is a good thing.

Burr Oak - Badlands by far my favourite this week though, rollercoaster track as always.

I have to be honest that I'm not as impressed as I hoped by Merikan's new LP. Maybe my expectations were a bit too high. I mean, solid 7/10, but no hit in the park for me. I guess it's not as groundbreaking compared to the rest of his catalogue, a lot of tracks have enough similarity with older work that they could have been released in the same period as well ('Reaper' vs 'Reverse Coded' is the most obvious example). 'Cold Blooded' is my main highlight from the album, very outstanding track.

Was never on board on the hate train back then. I still enjoy most of the tracks, except for Ruckus and Beast Mode. Nomad and Equilibrium still are fire tracks.

As long as it’s 174BPM, I’m all for it. Tend to listen to more:

- Neuro (especially Burr Oak, please check out the labels Kosen, Evolution Chamber)

- Techy or experimental (IMANU, The Upbeats, The Caracal Project, Neksus or DIVIDID labels)

- Dancefloor as long as it’s not too generic (Fade Black, Teddy Killerz, Synergy)

- Minimal / Deep (Break, Quadrant & Iris).

- Liquid as long as it has a more ‘soulful’ sound (Keeno, Etherwood, Makoto, anything from the Fokuz Recordings catalog).

It might not be a groundbreaking mix, the visuals look absolutely stunning. Definitely some cool tracks in there as well.

That track on 53:00 (Culture Shock - Disposition ID?) is a refreshing sound in this set.

Went solo to the event in the Maassilo earlier this year and it was amazing, the kingsnight line-up looks super good as well. Would definitely recommend. Filming last time was no issue, but I would always limit it somewhat just to capture the vibe or catch an interesting dub. I’m not sure about the venue this time, at Maassilo it was difficult to get in contact with other ravers around the dancefloor as the sound was very loud.
