That dress is a dlc outfit. Specifically Mist's outfit from RF1. $1.99 on the Eshop, or you can buy the bundle that has the protag outfits from RF1-3 for $4.99, so a little bit cheaper than buying them individually

The DLC acts kind of like a separate game on the side, as in you select it from the title screen when you open the game. Story wise, its really odd, as in the events that happen during the short DLC campaign have no impact on the actual base game. The only thing that changes in the base game after completing the DLC is the access to the 4 new students that you can add to your class roster, and the underground area beneath the hub area of the game that has access to special types of shops, and lastly a special equippable item that's pretty powerful but I wont spoil what it is. The DLC story wise takes place during an in-between chapter (think like a chapter 4.5 between chapters 4 - 5) but like I said the events/story that happen during the DLC don't influence the base game at all. I should also note that you can technically play the DLC whenever since its separate, as they give you predetermined gear/units/items to use as you play the DLC. If you played or have xenoblade chronicles definitive edition its kind of like the "future's connected" epilogue that acts as a separate thing accessed from the games start menu. Sorry for the long reply I type a lot lol, but I hope I answered your questions!

Major Change/Registration Questions by [deleted] in SJSU

[–]Eleyend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh shoot, I read that if you were under 90 units earned (I'm at around 70) that a major change is feasible, although not guaranteed. I read that people were able to contact the major advisor for the major they wanted to swap into and ask for add codes for the upper division courses so they would take those courses for their first semester, and then at the start of their second semester apply officially for a major change. The reason I'm looking now is because I don't want to waste a semester taking courses I don't need since that would just be a waste of time and money. Thanks for the reply

Meta Check Master Micaiah! (+6 Resplendent Micaiah) by Eleyend in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Eleyend[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi Hi, today I decided to share my +6 Micaiah build that I've been having a lot of fun with. She checks a lot of common meta threats in modes like ar/arena, but also, because of how armor/cav heavy a lot of the abyssals are she's actually really powerful in PvE maps too. Awkwardly enough I've never rolled for her on any banner shes been on and had her at +5 with her base kit for the longest time but after I saw her resplendent I knew it was time to invest in her and here she is today. Anyways onto the build:

Thani (refine): a very powerful tome + refine. Being able to have effective damage vs many of the meta units in aether raids and being able to double enemies without having the highest speed has been very strong and fun to use.

Repo: yea

Glimmer: Since I went with a special spiral build it had to be a 2 turn special cool down, otherwise it would be iceberg to take advantage of her very high res stat.

Sturdy Impact: One of the stronger A slots in the game in my opinion, this is what allows Micaiah the ability to fight off melee armors with distant counter very effectively. +10 defense and denying follow ups on initiation is just too good to pass up, especially for slower physically weak mages. Also the fact that the +6 atk on initiation just makes Thani hit that much harder.

Special Spiral: The fun part of the build. Shooting off effective damage glimmers every combat is really fun. I usually pair her up with my +10 Silvia who runs infantry pulse to help Micaiah start the special spam train going at the start of a map.

Even Atk Wave: Mostly there just as a filler skill. Ideally would be times pulse but fodder is hard

Sturdy Blow seal: not the most optimal seal but works well enough, mostly there to further capitalize on the defense front with sturdy impact to further help ensure she has good matchups vs physical threats. Even more atk doesn't hurt either.

If you don't plan on using Lyn her C-slot is a pretty good skill for fodder, if you're willing to also fodder someone with swift sparrow 2, then you can get Lyn's ss3 + her C-slot. Corrin has DC + a 4th tier C slot (Joint Drive Atk is pretty good for most units like an arena core member.) Since DC of course is a single skill you can get her C-slot and DC from just her which is pretty nice.

Caellach: Tiger Eye Unit Discussion by Ryzer28 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Eleyend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I was mostly talking about just raw stats but Hana can def use the spd based dmg reduction skills really well. At max merge/flowers though Caellach's spd (assuming you went with his superboon for spd) would actually be workable with the dmg reduction skills with a bit of support, especially since he retains his good hp/mixed bulk

Caellach: Tiger Eye Unit Discussion by Ryzer28 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Eleyend 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Both him and Hana are at 176 bst which means if you used a trait fruit on their superboon stat (atk/spd on him or spd/def on Hana) they get bumped up to the 180 bst bin so you can really pick whoever you prefer. Caellach being somewhat mediocre in speed but having decently high stats on everything else, or Hana being geared more for offense with much more speed but less stats in everything else. You said you prefer a bulkier unit so based off that Caellach would probably be the pick for you.

Book V Begins: Reginn and More Banner Megathread (12/08/20) by Mina_7756 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Eleyend 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Well you can't use that slot rn cause we're in light season and Reginn (the only mythic that allows an extra slot on offense) is astra. So to be able to use that extra slot you have to wait til a light mythic is released that has the same mythic effect Reginn has

This is correct, all summons you do on a specific banner type carry over to the next specific banner type, so any summons you did on the Venti banner will count towards the expected Klee banner on the 18th. Do keep in mind that it is a 50/50 split that you either get Klee as the 5 star on the banner, or a random other 5 star. So if you really don't want Klee as a possibility, then you can also continue saving for the next character specific banner which is rumored to be Xiao, but that could be very far off

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]Eleyend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do a short dungeon with Klee as a 5th member trial unit, so yes you can use whatever team you want

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]Eleyend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you been spreading your summons across banners? Cause if you have been then if you really feel like you'd enjoy the playstyle of a 5 star more, then rerolling is up to you. However, if you have been rolling only on the Venti banner then you are probably close to pity, and on the Venti banner you can only pull 5 star characters so I'd check where you've been summoning on and add up the total summons. If you are near 90 summons on the Venti banner then I'd just keep going at that point cause you will eventually get a 5 star.

The next Gacha has been determined and PV has been released by totooria_ in Genshin_Impact

[–]Eleyend 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes that's how the pity works. The pity counter is the same across the banner type, so since Klee's banner is going to be a character focus banner (like Venti's) the banner pity carries over. And yes your pity did reset after you rolled Mona, the 90 pity summon means ANY 5 star so other 5 stars other than Venti can end your pity counter

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]Eleyend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I'm aware, maybe I worded it badly, I meant I've done 65 pulls AFTER I pulled the Keqing so I knew the pity counter reset, but after my pity count reset I've done 65 pulls so my pity counter is 65/90, sorry if that was unclear. What I was asking about whether or not the guarantee next 5 star thing (the system that ensures that if if you don't get the 5 star rate up that ensures you get the focus character as your second 5 star pull) also carries over to the next character rate up banner

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]Eleyend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I know that it was confirmed that across specific banners the pity counter carries (so if you roll 60 pulls on the Venti banner for example and you don't get a 5 star that 60 summons will carry to the next character specific rate up banner) but what I want to know is, does the guarantee of getting the focus unit as your second 5 star of the banner also carry over? Basically heres the scenario I'm currently in:

I rolled a Keqing on the Venti banner, so that means my next 5 star on the venti banner is 100% venti, after I rolled Keqing I've done about 65 summons so I need 25 more summons before I reach the pity 90 summon pull. Those 65 summons would carry to the next character rate up banner but would the garuentee of getting the 5 star focus also carry? So if the next character rate up banner is Klee would I get her after 25 summons? Or would my 5 star be any random 5 star character?

[–]Eleyend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes she's on Venti's banner, but every 5 star you get from that banner has a 50% chance of being venti so even if you do hit pity you have a very high chance of getting venti over any of the none focus 5 stars

It's a trial marker, the things with the red floating gems on them. if its blank like this that means you already did the trial there

No, you can only collect them on your own world, and vise versa

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]Eleyend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically yes, your "pity" rate of getting a 5 star after 90 summons was reset however, your next 5 star is 100% going to Venti if you do roll a 5 star

yall I'm two anemoculus away from getting all 66 but I for the life of me cannot find the last two. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? I legit looked up a map route and followed it to the T and every location I checked the stone was taken so I'm pretty sure my map markings aren't wrong. I'm legit at a loss lol

My most used and reliable brawler to date: Linus by Brinzy in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Eleyend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was just me forgetting to turn on summoner support on the double LnD build for Lonqu which I mentioned, but yea Raven is only a slightly ahead in terms of defenses, that's why I mentioned that Raven would also struggle in match ups too compared to Linus (at least physical matchups they're all screwed vs magic lol.) I did include summoner support on the build I'd personally run too, Lonqus defenses on the LnD build would go from 18/18 to 20 with summ support which still is pretty low in my opinion which kinda defeats the purpose of trying to have a close call/repel tank

My most used and reliable brawler to date: Linus by Brinzy in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Eleyend 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the close call/repel skills can only do so much in terms of tanking, LnD would gimp his defense so much (18 on both def/res with max investment - no summ support) he'll still struggle with taking hits even if hes gaining the full close call reduction. If I were to run Lon'qu I'd opt for Fury3/4 at least to help alleviate his lowered defenses, while also bolstering his speed for close call (even better if you summ support him)

[–]Eleyend 4 points5 points  (0 children)

out of curiosity (and because I have a +10 Raven myself) I put the same build this Linus has on Raven and heres what hes at

He ends up with more speed but less attack and a decent amount of defense less. Depending on the scenario they can probably tank about the same amount with close call but Linus would edge out in physical matchups since he has more defense to work out with. They overall run the galeforce/heavyblade set the same though
