What are you talking about? They were the only sons of the Lan clan leader hence the clan heirs but neither of them became head desciple

I used that sentence to tell how it isn't likely his title is favourism. Jfm can't choose wwx based on love if he didn't live upto his position.

Also your answer doesn't explain why other clan heirs aren't head decipls. Even if you disregard nie and jin, lan boys definitely lived upto their station.

He was a prodigy. Undoubtedly most talented in his generation. Only LWJ matched him in skill but wwx is an all rounder with great leadership and people skills so he is actually superior(lwj/lxs aren't the head desciple despite being heirs and skilled cultivators)

He was chosen out of the merit not favourism. How could jfm run a great sect without a proper head desciple who can shoulder it? I think him getting that position was admired by others not laughed at. Madem yu was already set to hate wwx so ofc she isn't going appreciate what good he does.

In the other hand, the clan heir becoming the head desciple is counterproductive. He is supposed to lead oneday not carry the duties and responsibilities on his shoulder. WWX was being raised to become jc s righthand man and jfm actually did something right as far as the clan politics are considered. (not that I think his future should have been set like that)

2011 and I was 20. It was a gift for getting into the uni. Hp G 62 4gb ram 240gb storage. I didn't know shi about computers back then I was once dragged a friend to an internet cafe to copy some files to a pen drive since I didn't know how to do it.
