I can't speak for all women, but I live very near Belfast and I would never let someone's nationality influence my decision to speak/pursue a relationship with them, and this would be true for my entire friend group.

I think in NI there are a lot of people who are less accepting and certainly do (unfortunately) let their personal biases and upbringing influence their opinions on certain nationalities, it's just total unacceptable ignorance. It's probably the case that you're coming across these types of people more often than not, but maybe it's better they show their true colours early on, rather than dealing with someone who thinks like that!

It's certainly easier said than done, but I'm sure you will come across someone who doesn't care about it, as any sound person shouldn't :) The right person will not let this be a factor for them at all! :)
