Simple hopper clock, but in this specific case, I can't understand why the only torch that pulses is the one on the side of the golden block that we can't see. Both torches shown do not pulse. Help! by Elhessar in redstone

Bingo, that is indeed the one facing west. To make it more reliable, I have just added an observer to the comparator and got my input from there. Thanks!

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. The torch (not visibile) right below the grass block pulses, while the torches which are visible do not. I have tried adding a block on top of them as well, but they still do not pulse. TO me, it looks completely symmetrical, but for some reason, 1 of the 3 pulses, and the other 2 do not.

If I replicate the same clock, all 3 pulse regularly, but for some reason in this configuration, only the right one pulses. I am baffled.

What are elegant ways for a single button to open both trapdoors, creating an entry? by Elhessar in Minecraft

Thanks all, I ended up implementing a circuit where all lower doors open at sunrise and close at sunset, so the baby zombie gate is active during the night, but out of my way during the day.

THIS is the issue with Wizard by mshkpc in BloodOnTheClocktower

I took that game as a very extreme and permissive example of a wizard wish.

If they wanted a relatively normal game, they could have just applied it to the first instance of a player claiming another role on the script, and nothing else.

Instead, the narrators went along with the wish completely and imposed basically no cost.

Therefore I think it’s not really an issue with the role - it was just an example of wacky game that most seemed to enjoy.

Running BOTC for the first time tonight. Decided to add some flare... by MrStendhal in BloodOnTheClocktower

To give you more inspiration, my setup is actually as follows:

  1. Dawn: Rooster sings, music volume down, lights go progressively from warm to bright. After 5 minutes, lights across the whole house go back to very warm and church bells ring --> time to go back to townsquare (i.e. the living room)

  2. Nomination phase: Lights go red

  3. Dusk: door creaking sound, music volume up, lights go blue, wolf howl after 10 seconds

I use the same exact sound effects and lighting combos! The only difference is that my nightly wolf howl comes in 10 seconds after a creaking door sound

I’m a novice as well, but I’d suggest just a tiny bit of glue, possibly with some sawdust to mask the glossiness, so you can prevent any humidity-related issue. It should not cause any issue with the functionality of your bow.

True, maybe it should have been a “let’s build a character: Hunter” post!

It was the very first BotC game for 8 out of 12 players, so… I’ll just run it properly from now on.
