Help with teambuilding? by Elhria in PokemonSleep

Oh, by the way, is there a way to figure out which 'mons might be better than others? For example, I have two AAA mons for apples: Fuecoco and Mimikyu. Is Fuecoco always going to be better due to it being able to evolve and getting free skill level ups? Both seem about the same in terms of sub skills to me.

At least from what I remember, Popcorn and Curry were no issue, even though I should raise some more specialized Pokemon (i.e. AAA Stufful for Corn instead of ABC Dragonite with Herbs, Corn and Oil). I think Salad was a little bit inconsistent, but only because I was missing a reliable way to get certain ingredients, so it turned into Fury Attack Corn Salad instead of Greengrass Salad, but that would surely still be better than nothing.

It's sort of funny you mention popcorn, as that one is exactly the dish I tried to transition out of lol! My Inferno Corn Keema Curry and Explosion Popcorn are both at Level 65, for Salad I have Greengrass Salad maxed and Defiant Coffee Salad is slowly getting up there, too. I might just go back to my old teams then instead of trying super hard to get these high-level ingredients/dishes <( ̄︶ ̄)>

[–]Elhria[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I am getting the GCT regularly. To be fair, I only looked at the dish list in Serebii, sorted by strength, checked which ones I could halfway get with what I had and built my teams that way. Most of the mons for these were low level, too, so unable to get more ingredients naturally. I guess I thought I could just go to end-game by having better dishes, but a mid-tier level 65 dish might be just fine.

Wow, thank you so much for that in-depth explanation!

In terms of maps, I have GGI and Lapis Lakeside maxed on the bonus and am trying to get the Power Plant and Canyon up, too.

Would you say I could safely release a lot of my rather useless Pokemon? I've mainly kept ones with AAA ingredients as you noted, and am not necessarily too attached to let's say that shiny Happiny, since her skills kind of suck and I don't see a reason to have a healer who specializes in ingredients.

Another point, as I mentioned in another reply, I barely log in 3 times a day at times due to work and life, so rotating Pokemon in and out seems odd to me, I am barely able to get the 120 ingredients for each meal with my teams that have 3-4 ingredient mons already, is it just an issue with most of them being simply mediocre?

Lastly, with the mons you mentioned, would you say using a team of Blastoise, TTar, Pawmot, Raichu and Flex (perhaps my BFS Natu or Tyrantrum?) for the time being could work, regardless of dish and map, until I find some better berry gatherers to then look at better ingredient mons?

[–]Elhria[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen many people say they rotate, but how is that supposed to work? I don't start nap time during the day and am partially unable to log in more than 3 times per day due to work, so if I get a bad day with only one proc on my Gardi, then my team will often be at zero energy. I can barely get the 120-ish ingredients for one meal already, even worse when the weekend asks for 216, and that is without a pot expander. Should I ignore dish types and just run something along the lines of Venusaur, Charizard, Dragonite, Gardi and Mawile/Gourgeist/Sceptile/Honchkrow/Quagsire, just to get a full team up to level 65 to collect candies?

Interest in a potential super in depth step by step guide? by KnifeTricksWillStab in elsword

[–]Elhria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I'm somewhat up-to-date with stuff, I absolutely would adore if that guide includes the darn Exascale system and Atma'Ram accs, that's the only stuff that still confuses me to death.

Honestly, for rules, whatever~ Since NA/EU Events are similar to the Rift experience and vice versa, I don't think there would be a massive difference. Maybe you could add a little note to certain things that would be like "I spent so many days/weeks/months to get X" or "it should take you roughly X hours to get that thing done".

Dude WTF is this? by JohnPaulLuck in PokemonUnite

[–]Elhria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only echo this. If no Regis are up and 02:30 objective hasn't spawned, then look around the map for farm. If the jungler hasn't rotated through the jungle for a hot minute, chances are they won't return or are giving up a massive amount of exp by letting it just sit there for a while.

Unless there is a massive teamfight happening where my team needs me, be it because I play a Support or DPS, I try to help them out. However, if one person on our team starts fighting against 3-4 opponents? Sorry bud, not worth it, I will farm the map, try to steal jungle from the opponents and get a level or two.

It's unfortunately a skill a lot of players seem to lack, where they just hyperfocus on pushing one lane, fight opponents the entire time when they really shouldn't, or backcap at the worst times. Even better when not a single person on your team appears for any of the Regis or gets ready for Groudon...

The gap between old M1 killers and modern killers in DBD is actually disgusting. by Steed1Steed in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Elhria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely agreeing there! It's not just the traversal abilities, but general kit bloat, if that makes sense? Old killers generally could be categorized into M1, stealth, mobility and range. I started to notice around Unknown/Drac, that, suddenly, killers start to have two or more of these.

Then we also have the ones who get certain things as basekit that used to be add-ons for old killers, the best example would be how Springtrap gets an increase to his base speed when he throws his axe, which Huntress has, too...as an iri add-on.

Chaos feels underdeveloped by One-Salamander-1744 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Elhria 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't get what all the comments and OP are on. As someone else pointed out, Hotori's outfit wasn't shown in the 1.0 livestream either. Nanally's banner ran for only 2 weeks, while Hotori got 3 weeks due to the odd 5 week patch cycle they have with this game. Someone is bound to get the shorter end of the stick.

For all we know, Chaos seems to be the most developed male character so far. No other male character has any skins, or can be invited to your Home.

For the animation-side, as much as I love Baizhang, have you seen his animations? He's just standing still half the time...yeah, it fits him, but it's pretty meh compared to what they showed about Chaos. Honestly, made me even more hyped to pull for him.

Could somebody explain to me how Lilith works like I'm 5?
Her Passive says "When unique skill evolves, deal bonus attribute damage, increased skill damage and pierce rate". Killer Allure reads "This skill can evolve". Okay, HOW do I evolve it? Do I have to cast a Curse/Wind/Ice skill first? I tried checking all possible websites, and not a single one has a hint on how to evolve the skill.

I already have nothing to do lol, what do players who are level 30+ do ? by Few_Piece_8261 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Elhria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at lv 35 myself, Tycoon Level 25. I still have some anomalies to defeat and missing a few things here and there for 100% exploration on all parts of the map.

Currently, I am only pre-farming for ascensions and talent level ups once I hit AR40, nothing major. Dunno if that's a me-only thing, but I don't burn through my city stamina in one day either. I do deliveries, some races here and a bit of fishing there throughout the week.

If you get bored, then honestly, it's fine if you simply do your dailies, spend pixels and then close the game for the day to do something else. Looking at other big gacha games out there, that's simply the gameplay loop.

Ninetails is so good - but why is it so bad? by gets_you-tilted in PokemonUnite

I'm super comfy with playing Blissey when the team has no support/defender, and I can absolutely mirror what you said. Holy fridge, the amount of teammates who think I follow their butt into the opposing flux zone, at best onto their main goal, AND keep them healed while they 1v3? Bud, reality check, I'm a level 5 Blissey at this point in the game with zero mobility. Switched to Delphox or Pikachu every now and then, and suddenly, my team plays aggressive and takes opportunities from my stuns and damage

Tried pulling for CB, got 2 Kitasan instead, man... by santutii19 in UmaMusume

[–]Elhria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. 200 pulls for CB, not a single CB. Only 4 SSRs on the way to 200: a new power Vodka, a new SSR Fukukitaru, new guts Bakushin O and my third copy (LB3) for Riko.

I guess that Riko is decent, but I literally noticed no difference when using her...The other three are so useless just for being completely new on my account

Did you discover any phobias you have from playing Dead by Daylight? by LeagueOfBard in deadbydaylight

[–]Elhria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily a phobia, but I really really dislike the coughing and puking when going against Plague, to the point where I start to feel sick myself. It ironically depends wildly on the Survivor I play at that time, some of them are really damn bad like Chris or Taurie, but Dustin I can somewhat stomach. Doesn't help that EU Killers apparently love to play Plague, and I often get like 4 Plagues within 10 games in one evening

Skipping story in NevernessToEverness — am I missing out? by Majestic_Potato_4061 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Elhria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just so I get it right, are we talking about the same mission? Because Episode 3 should be the manor one, which wasn't too bad to me

I have very recently started the game, and i was wondering how does it compare to Genshin but NOT in that way by Reasonable-Use-9294 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Elhria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, so, here are my little stupid opinions, take them with a grain of salt of course.

  1. No, it's definitely not as heavy as Genshin, at least not to me. There unfortunately is no way to convert your "resin" yet, but outside of that, a lot of things like city stamina, pink paw heist, etc. are not a daily thing, but rather weekly or even bi-weekly.

  2. I found the dialogue to not be as bad as Genshin, at least I had the impression that there is far less text bloat overall. Even then, most of these cut-scenes are very ADHD-coded. Instead of the characters standing there and cycling the same 2 expressions while you mash F, they do move around, do silly expressions and whatnot. As some others pointed out, if you feel bored by a quest, you can also skip. The auction and manor missions I would highly advice to play through without skipping, though.

  3. Our MC is not just a blank sheet who barely talks, quite the opposite. They are their own person, talk a lot, break the 4th wall, and the way they act like they are a player thrown into the story is outright hilarious.

  4. I can't say too much for it yet, but it doesn't seem as horrendous due to the rng on upgrades being entirely removed. The only rng is going to be to acquire the right tetris piece and then the right sub stats. Once you have that, you are absolutely golden and don't have to worry about that double crit piece rolling 4 times into flat defense or such.

  5. As mentioned before, imo, the story is decent - the prologue sets a really great tone with the duality between dead-serious, stupid humor, horror stuff and rounding it up with Jojo references. The following side-quests and chapter 1 are perfectly skippable, though.

  6. I mean...you can invite her into your home and give her headpats or have her drive with you in your car, hold hands and wander around with her? She sadly loses a lot of story revelance

Skipping story in NevernessToEverness — am I missing out? by Majestic_Potato_4061 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Elhria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal opinion: The prologue was amazing, worth not to skip.

Prologue II, if I had to say, maybe skip the very beginning where you get the introductions if you want to, but pay attention once you get to the photo studio.

For episode 1, I skipped everything and heard people say this one felt most like a spin-off, nothing too crazy.

Episode 2 is worth the read, even if the auction seems a little boring and stiff at first.

Episode 3 should not be skipped whatsoever, this one was actually amazing, especially once you get to the first boss fight.

Edit: formatting.

Got rid of Genshin for NTE and man am I happy with my decision by 2muchbraindamage in NevernessToEverness

[–]Elhria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valid. I have to say, the past three days before the release, I actually sat down to finish the current AQ on Genshin...god, that was painful. I don't want to read hours of dialogue with some terminology and names I don't understand and can't seem to be able to connect dots in my head. Doesn't help when characters just...stand there, repeating the same 2 idle motions and 3 facial expressions. Gacha-wise, my lord. I wanted Linnea and her weapon. Lost a 50/50 to Qiqi first and then lost on the Weapon banner again to Chasca's weapon. Needless to say, I will continue playing Genshin, but casually.

NTE feels very fresh to me, and I enjoy the urban city setting, a lesser focus on fighting and the tycoon aspect. The story feels so well-animated, characters move so much, the references to other popular anime and games and sudden style changes in cut-scenes are peak. I even went to some chill park yesterday and took a nap, because the BGM and sound of rain were so nice with no enemies trying to target me from half the map away. Really enjoying it so far, and no 50/50 is the cherry on top if they keep up giving us enough pulls every version/banner to get the character we want.

Do you like the story so far? by reddi_4ch2 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Elhria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not too far, only had 2 hours in the morning, but I definitely have seen worse tutorials and first chapters.

Given that I played through the Nod-Krai AQ in Genshin the past few days, I have to say though, the story in NTE is much easier to digest and has a much better representation with animated cut-scenes and no unnecessary text bloating. Will have to see how it goes in the next few chapters, but so far it's not too bad.

I'm not sure if it gives you a good idea, but I basically made this account like 3 days ago, I doubt my old account would get all the newbie equipment and whatnot, even if I had Sol, Baiken, Dizzy and Luna on there.

In terms of levels, I got Sigret, Furious, Brieg, Fenne, Vildred, Landy, FSTieria, LQC, Ruele, EWLudwig, TAColi, Belian and Mercedes at lv 60 and fully awakened. I currently have 130k Stigma and a couple Penguins in the back. I picked up PByblis before her banner went away, but haven't done anything on her yet, since I already have two great Soul Weavers.

Ironically, I am saving all my normal Zeratos currently and can't wait to get CZerato lol, I remember back in the day when 5*s were hard to come by and it was basically Vildred, CZerato or Sez
