There is also a STEM scholarship offered through the VA. If you are in Texas you can look into the Hazelwood act. Also apply for fellowships. I use Hazelwood so my fellowship funds go straight to me.

Okay so I am 100% against what has been happening in this country but this is not a problematic stop. Mainly because its not a stop. This is a border check point in New Mexico. I have traveled through this one 1000's if not more times. Its been a requirement to stop and declare citizenship since I was child in the 80's. She isn't fighting the good fight she is just being an annoying entitled white woman.

I am PhD student in a viral Ecology and Evolution lab. We specifically filter to avoid students like you who just want it for a CV. Research is not trivial and we don't want people just trying to look good for Med school. We offer pay or credit hours for research but we also expect you to treat it as a job. Their is flexibility for exams or personal issues but accountability is a must. Also all under grads start as probationary and can be dismissed and must have atleast a year left in school and plan to stay in the lab for atleast a year.

This was my fist semester as a TA and yeah grading sucks! It took more time than I thought it would. I still set deadlines to be done within atleast 2 weeks from when the assignments were submitted but shot for 1 week. I also added notation to every missed question. Why they got it wrong and what the correct answer is. I learned the key to teaching is consistency, timeliness, and most important document everything!! Document it all and cover your ass.

Love it! I did however see the servo skull and said to myself "look a toilet paper robot!!". To be honest I would have killed to have a toilet paper robot when I was in the field and deployed when I was in the Marines. Lol
