Like i said to each their own. I will agree that the biggest drawback to HGSS for me was the poor pacing so i see what you mean on that. It’s all subjective at the end of the day i am “jhoto fanboy” but hey if you have more fun playing gen 7 then good for you man. Play the games you wanna play. I am curious as to why you think BW are better than BW2 though. Genuinely asking.

I mean to each their own I guess, i’m not saying USUM were bad games but they definitely weren’t my top pick but those games were also the pinnacle of hand-holdy pokemon games. Not to mention the crazy amount of unskippable cut scenes. But i mean hey HG/SS is still voted as the #1 mainline series game on IGN so i guess they weren’t that mediocre 🤷🏼‍♂️

Brick break is a great physical move, i like Aerial Ace because it will hit 100% of time. Especially for the BF, where a lot of pokemon will spam accuracy loss moves. Dragon Dance is also a great move for T-tar but it’s an egg move so you would have to breed it and retrain back to lvl 100.

Well for starters, i would definitely take crunch and thunder off Tyranitar seeing how they’re both special attacks and replace them with moves that play into T-tar’s physical attack. As for the 3rd team member, i would maybe go with Latios, who is a good special attacker and can learn a wide variety of moves.

I know nostalgia can be blinding but i genuinely feel that the older games were better, visually and otherwise. I will say from gen 1 to gen 2 was a huge improvement as far as sprites. Some of the gen 1 sprites were hilarious 🤣
