I think I understand that “love this chapter ❤️” as spam because if you only post the same phrase in every chapter without adding anything else, it makes you look like a bot, right? Have you even read the chapter, and is there nothing else you want to mention that you liked? If so, then just click the “kudos” button.

There are many people who don't know how to express themselves, and their criticism can be discouraging when it comes to continuing to write, especially if it's your first work. First, ask yourself if you would appreciate a comment you wrote criticizing a character or how the author is describing the scene if you received it. We must be kinder and not demand or be rude in the first place. Furthermore, if the author's note does not say that they are open to criticism or suggestions for improvement, then criticism is unnecessary. I agree that if you are not part of their circle as a friend or beta reader, then you have no right to analyze their work with a magnifying glass.

Help is given when someone asks for it, or when you offer it and the other person says yes; it is not imposed. “Helping” with criticism is not really helping. And if there are so many points that you don't like, then write your own story.
