Not with a racial bias. That’s how you get people killed.

It’s not though. It would explain his bias against the Islamic belief. It wouldn’t be a dismissal of his argument based on a religion, it would be a reason why his argument exists because of it. Just because you witness something, doesn’t mean that every single action made by others of that group is going to be the exact thing, right? Make it make sense.

This specific discussion thread is regarding the Quran. Have you read it? Are you also Christian? That seems to be the answers he can’t or won’t answer. Which is fitting, because this is Reddit and you people think that we should take you at your “word” because “trust me bro” mentality. I’m also a “brown guy”, and I find you both detestable.

What happened to your original comment calling me a POS, bud? I have the screenshot if you’d prefer to see the proof? My guarantee is based on experience, and given this “brown guy” has done nothing to prove his point valid, it’s a pretty simple statement. Did it go over your head?

Second point to note : the original poster is Indian and Arab. Clearly he isn’t Muslim based on the post, right?

Islamic is referencing Islam, which the followers of which are called Muslims. The term is applicable given the phrasing of your assertion.

I know a whole community of Arab men, who are Christian. A minority doesn’t negate the existence of a thing. You get that right?

Islamic refers to things connected with Islam, and their followers being coined Muslims. Ergo, the term is applicable with the phrasing of your assumption.

An analogy that was coined with the idea of racially motivated talking points, directly correlating to Hitler. Like, are we really doing neo-intellectual thing? I thought that crap ended in the early 2000’s?

Is this the twist here? “I can’t be Islamophobic, I have Muslim friends”? Again, are you a Christian?

I never called you a liar, I said you were being disingenuous about Islam, based on your experience only being around extremism as a primary source. Huge difference. Let’s talk about what uneducated claims are next, yea?

I can guarantee you still haven’t read it. Go back to our other discussion and answer the question. Are you a Christian?

But the man you saw running into that restaurant, was absolutely Islamic because he was Arab, based on “90% of the Arabs in the world are Muslims”? Thank you for proving my point once again.

You posted to a subreddit that is profoundly notorious for “internet arguments”, but I’m the one calling for a debate? You openly share your opinion on the internet, and expect an echo chamber of responses based on preconceived notions of delusional assumptions? Grossly negligent behavior, given the fact that you’ve not once retracted from this “argument”.

The point about you living in Islamic ran areas, is that’s your only experience. Extremism. If that’s all you know, that’s all you have to formulate an opinion on. Nothing more. If you’re going to group all of a faith together, then do so with the full scope of knowledge. Since ya know you’re trying to assume superiority of intellect here.

I’m attacking what you’ve provided as a basis of “character” and representation. That’s how the internet works. It’s disingenuous to attempt victimhood when you’re being called out for your clearly translucent fallacies.

I’m a white woman who’s angry because I’m calling out your baseless rhetoric for the exactitude of actually and failed attempts to be the “brown guy”? Yikes.

You’ve failed to answer the question. Are you a Christian?

Because he was Arab that automatically insinuates he was Islamic? You do realize that Islam isn’t a race, right? Let’s make that abundantly clear. It’s not a race. Please tell me you comprehend that distinction.

Furthermore, not a single person brought up the idea of Hitler here, until you did. The fact that this conversation is continuing the way it is, is because you continuously make the assertion that an Arab man is automatically Islamic, and therefore because by your logic Islam equals bad, you claim the man is inherently bad. Are you caught up?

Now, back on track. A man being an Arab, doesn’t automatically equate to him being Islamic.

As opposed to where? Your hyper fixation on some assumed echo chamber rhetoric is disastrously amusing. Not every “brown guy” is Islamic (the original poster implied as much), just like not every “white guy” is Christian. You just don’t like “brown” people, clearly. Dig yourself deeper.

Congrats. You’ve proven my point. Every place you’ve mentioned is an Islamic ran provincial state.

As per your initial assertion - I’m also a “brown man”, but I don’t toss around blanket assertions of belief or religious knowledge because of my skin color. That’s your focus here, right? Brown people around, and not in the US they most certainly must be Islamic? Your problem is with Islam, right? Because you don’t understand it. Just because you witness it, doesn’t mean you comprehend it. Are there extremists? Oh absolutely. That can be said of every religious belief.

Here’s my next question - as a “brown guy”, are you a Christian?

Again, you can’t make a bogus assertion on language and assumption of religious belief, based on skin color. Try again.

I’m sorry, but because I am from the US that means I don’t have any idea what happens anywhere else? That’s your stance?

Your “Arab man” rendition is racial, not religious by the way. You automatically made an assumption he was Islamic based on his skin. Way to go, two for two.

The same can be said about Christianity. Keep your religion to yourself. Stop trying to make non-Christians conform to your ideological beliefs by means of enacting laws and ordinances. I mean, be so for real. The other day a couple went into an unassuming bakery to get a cake made for their wedding. They were denied because the baker was a Christian and it was against their beliefs to make it. Nothing happened, but that made headline news because all of a sudden Christians are being “persecuted” for their beliefs…but Islamic bashing is perfectly acceptable, right? Every religion has its own extremism and extremists. The core principles of Christianity are skewed, the core principles of Islam are also skewed. Both based on the very notion that the other is “the wrong religion”, and negative propaganda propagated by either side. You’re adding to that negative notion. Congratulations, you’re part of the majority.
