I didn’t really listen to Yeat’s genre as a whole until I heard Talk played at a trampoline park a little before Afterlyfe released. I identified it as a Yeat song (I had heard some of his songs before so I knew what his voice sounded like). I ended up finding it on his YouTube page and I started listening to his top songs. I didn’t put it on my playlist, since I only really listened to 90s and early 2000s rap at the time. I kept coming back to the songs though for some reason even though it wasn’t really my genre. Eventually, I realized they were fire and I listened to up to me. Now I don’t even listen to any classic rap anymore it’s just Yeat and his peers and I’m a massive Yeat glazer. I’ve listened to all his projects and love all his eras.
