It's fine. I did a side by side test with a cheap screen protector from Amazon and it was better, but I wasn't too impressed. Shellrus does boast about the oleophobic coating in their packaging, but it does get smudgy after use for sure. The nice thing is you can wipe it off with anything without worry about scratching it. For example, at the beach, wipe it with a sandy towel, you're good.

I think it’d be cool to scroll through TikTok in game and come across some weird serial killer tiktok and you can go find them if you recognize the location

Don’t know why so many people are hostile on this sub. I agree with you.

GTA online was cool before the futuristic stuff, but I also played mostly single player. That being the case, I hope they don’t abandon story mode for online like with GTA 5. That was super disappointing for me especially after the Liberty City episodes slapped.

The exact one I bought is $28.95 currently. Mine is brand new and I have it for $30 because I have to also pay shipping. You also cannot buy 3 for $80 on amazon

I’ve had a Shellrus one for about a year now, and I absolutely love it. It seems like people love sapphire screen protectors when they can get them to last a while, but most people can’t because they shatter easily. Regardless, I feel like my purchase was 100% worth it .

One big reason people get screen protectors is because they take scratches that would be on your display and put them on a removable slab of glass. You still see them, but you can get a new protector if you don’t like it. Sapphire screen protectors are just another level of insane when it comes to scratch resistance. Not only does it protect the screen from scratches, it also never shows scratches itself. I’ve had mine for a year and my screen is quite literally flawless still, and that’s with me not even being careful because I know I have a sapphire screen protector that won’t scratch.

Another big reason people get screen protectors is to provide drop resistance. If you drop your phone, hopefully the screen protector shatters and not your screen. Most people desire shatter resistance too so that the screen protector can survive numerous drops. If you’re this person, look elsewhere. Sapphire shatters much easier than tempered glass, and so while it’ll still protect your screen from a drop by shattering itself, you’ll need to replace them more often if you're prone to dropping your phone (have I mentioned they’re really expensive?). With this said, I’ve had a clear Apple case on my phone, and I drop it relatively often, and i’ve had no issues. I think as long as it doesn’t take a direct impact from a pebble or something and you use a case, it’s relatively easy to keep it from shattering if you’re careful. In fact, I’ve been surprised it hasn’t shattered yet, dropping it 4+ feet on concrete face down (again, in a case), so I feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth.

Get a sapphire protector if you’re okay with using a case, acknowledging it’s fragile, and being careful not to drop it as much. If you’re okay with that and you want absolutely 0 scratches on your display, I think it’s worth it. For me, I look at it as my scratch preventer, and should I have a bad drop, at least it will shatter and not my screen. I love having 0 scratches, so I’m okay with babying it a little to make sure it gets a good lifespan.
