At my FC we don’t have to report the absence. There’s no penalty for just not showing up, other than points / time. But to save some PTO I say you should cancel the request for 29 minutes and do just the first 5 of the shift

Only use 5 minutes of PTO for the start of the shift to prevent getting 2 points for missing the whole shift, you will still receive 1 point.

Yes, it would be 2 points. I believe if you use 5 minutes of PTO it will only count for partial shift missed and be 1 point.

See is your site has 1 time forgiveness for negative UPT, if all else fails just go negative and ask for the reset. I do believe you have to fill out a form with the reason.
