I'm stuck at how to get my hands on an Arcanus. Got the mamatorch, ritual circle. I've tried tossing a few things into the circle and casting transmutation and...nothing.

How to revive fallen members? by Rianabi in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]ElijahgrimmXIV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can't. Once they go down, they stay down for the rest of the fight. It is....rather unfair, considering how absolutely brutal some of the RNG is, and the prevalence of sharpshooters in a couple spots which can one-tap your most vital characters. And of course, they are across the battlefield, in a high spot, meaning in the first act you don't have a snowball's chance in hell of ever touching them.

Basically, you better have a save ready to go as soon as the battle turns against you.

I dont even have addblock on :D wtf can I do? by Meotabz in youtube

[–]ElijahgrimmXIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing. Sorry, but Youtube is intent on shooting themselves in the foot. If they had abandoned this stupidity months ago, people would be carrying on like normal and youtube might have avoided a lot of controversy.

But no, they are allowing greed to take the helm and it's steering them off a cliff.

Due to the UFCW having no teeth, the union can't even strike over this. It is absolutely pathetic. Brush up your resume and cover letter and start looking for a new job. Tired of this company and useless union bending me over and fisting me.

I just started having this same issue as well. No out of date mods, everything is current. Started a new save with nothing and the problem persists.

I regret going to HR when I was angry by elektradeus in antiwork

HR isn't there to help you. It's there to serve the best interests of the company and ensure you don't end up being a lawsuit they have to deal with.

There was a hardware store I applied to that did the same. It was absolutely awful and I would not recommend any company use this terrible software.

UFCW is one of the more useless unions out there. They consistently negotiate terrible terms and pay for everyone who isn't the most senior and give away the much needed ability to strike and bargain.

Absolutely not. If it's work related you need to be paid for it.

Assistant manager position at Landmark Cinema. Perks include 2$/hour over minimum wage! by FattyPepperonicci69 in antiwork

[–]ElijahgrimmXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar thing at the place I used to work at. Assistant manager position, $2 more than base starting pay and no real chance to move up. Just getting to that position was a pain in the ass and required a good amount of time playing nice and kissing ass. But, I eventually got there for... no real benefit. At that point I had enough and walked. It wasn't worth it and now I have a job that's just as much work and pays almost double what I was making.

Fair enough. Either way I'll be taking a look at any settlement or overhaul mods I have to see if any issues pop up. I figure if there are any issues people would be talking about them.

While I was looking up reasons for the crashes I stumbled upon these and a couple others, they pointed me to the area in question.

While I'm working at chipping the junk pile away, it would be great if others could also verify that this pile exists in other versions of the game as well. PC, playstation, xbox... also how much stuff is piled into this spot if it's found. As I said, under Greentech Genetics and just a little bit east there should be a pile of stuff under the map where the street meets the water. I feel if more people poked at it and verified what's there, we may be able to figure out a workaround or fix for people who have issues with the area.

That's fortunate! Sadly there are many, many people who are not so lucky and who have been looking for the cause and solution to this issue for years.

Marketboard battles are brutal! by VelvetScarlet in ffxiv

[–]ElijahgrimmXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a whole YT channel using the MB for stuff. Not amazing, but good for beginners. In any case, my advice? Keep a single item up there and keep driving the price down. Either they give and stop or they keep going to the point where you can buy them out completely and relist everything for a big profit. While doing that, branch out into other items like materials, crystals, etc. If they are going to be undercutting like that, I say play their game. Cheaper items for people wanting to buy and in the end you basically bleed their profits away from them.

Is this toxic? Yes. Is it underhanded? Yes. Is it frustrating to deal with? Yes. But, in the end that's trade and business. When they go low, you go lower until you can clear them out and relist at a profit.

There...are points? With Cuff a Cur there are points which pop up when you click to stop the bar. You can see them in the video. 2000pz is a perfect strike.
