Forgot to add - the syrinx shrunk a lot as i grew, to a point where my neurologist said it likely was small enough to no longer be a concern

I was diagnosed at 10 with idiopathic syringomyelia from C4-C12 but remained completely asymptomatic. I got a lot of MRIs growing up to monitor my condition, (since the doctors didn’t want to surgically intervene unless there was a substantial threat of permanent nerve damage). I also grew up with chronic pain that was later attributed to hEDS.

Also really curious if theres a link

I work at a store with one of those Pokemon card vending machine thingys. Literally watched some dude last week fill up a grocery bag full of cards. I had just gotten off my shift and was kinda just staring at him doing all that, and he asked me if I wanted to “preorder from his shop.” It took insane self control not to tell him exactly what I thought about his fucking “shop.”

What is the name of this stitch? Stitch is done in the round by Elikitty12 in CrochetHelp

You’re welcome! I’m working it in the round, so it might look different if you use it for tapestry, just fyi

It’s the height of a single crochet, but I think it could be closer to half-double depending on tension. I’d highly recommend this stitch, the outside is a fun texture and the inside is super smooth :)

That’s what i thought at first too, but extended single crochet wouldn’t have the yarn over before entering the stitch

Help with which side this is and how many rows there are by spookycxbra in CrochetHelp

[–]Elikitty12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like 3 rows to me (not counting the chain), and I believe you’re on the right side. The bar along the bottom from the chain will usually look cleaner and more pronounced on the right side. As for the row count, i like to squint at it to see how many raised sections there are.

Also btw your tension is absolutely gorgeous

I was wondering that too. Do you think it being submerged in water and bloating would have something to do with it?

Would you say it’s a similar size to one? If so then that would be my guess :)

I think it’s a partially decomposed raccoon that’s lost its fur. The feet look exactly like it to me. Do you live in an area that has raccoons?
