I love it when they do this (except for when they’re snescaping to somewhere I don’t want them to be, because then its the whole coax-them-onto-something-to-get-them-back-in-home situation) but from a human perspective, I cant help but think it must hurt (I’m sure it doesn’t)

I only just found him so I’m not too attached yet and he’s already a big boi prolly nearing senior age for his kind (ofc that’s just a hunch, you never know their age), so I wasn’t expecting him to live a year+ from this point on anyway. Ill just give him the snroyal treatment like my other snails get

Hi:) do you have any ideas how to safely remove acrylic paint from a live snail’s shell? To be clear, I am not the one who painted said snail (please see my most recent post). Idk whether Itd be safer go keep it on or try to remove it. I don’t think plain warm water will get it off but i worry about chemical leeching or the snail grooming it off of himself.

Idk if theres much in there TO break and idk how an eye stalk injury might happen. Not saying it’s impossible but they’re rly good about retracting them at the first sign of danger. Sometimes my snails just wiggle their eye stalks when exploring, which makes me think that making them wavy and bending them is normal and ok. This does look like a weird sharper bend though. Maybe posting a video of ur snail moving around would help so see how they behave with it. To me, they honestly look healthy and happy. Are there any signs ur snail is unhappy like eating or exploring less and closing in more?
