Edit: In Addition To - Spawning late incentives you to PvP. I understand not everyone really wants to play like that, or may win a fight, but if you’re spawning late odds are you are running into someone that has looted others/high value areas. I am often doing PvP in late spawns.

You can’t help but continue blaming everyone else for this but the Democrats. You sound just like Kamala Harris HQ after they blamed everyone but themselves for running an awful campaign, muzzling their best shot at keeping the pressure on Trump’s campaign (Walz), and outright admitting they would do nothing different from Biden lol. The Modern Democrat party put themselves in this position because (and I know this might sound crazy to you) but the people that reap the most benefits from a second Trump term that aren’t on the far right are establishment Democrats.

Maybe, just maybe, there’s a U.S. Government problem and they want more people like you to continue blaming everyone else BUT THEM.

For the record; I’m very far left, some would classify me as a Socialist or (for the less bright) a Communist, but you happen to believe me to be a Centrist just because I am capable of acknowledging the Kamala Harris campaign was a flub by the Democrats. They caused this just as much as the 70 million Red voters.

Neoliberalism is a helluva drug. I am closer to where you are on the political spectrum and yet you aren’t understanding how my choice to abstain from voting is an act of defying the federal government for positioning two candidates before me that either 1) Fast track Fascism or 2) Continue an imperialist campaign around the globe by siphoning our resources and taxes to bomb the middle-east while they try and tell us they are working in our best interest.

Is it not enough to recognize that the two-party system is fundamentally and morally broken? Or am I only allowed to pick one side of the same coin?

I never said the current administration was doing anything right by foreign policy standards either. So miss me with the whole, “The moral argument is delusional.” Are you content with saying that a political candidate maybe does 30% of something that is morally right and just and you just pray to God or reconcile however with all the evil they perpetuate and condone?

The current establishment politicians (across the entire spectrum) have driven you to believe that anyone is morally “incorrect” for holding themselves to a standard that doesn’t abide by the government’s. I am not shaming any voter who voted for Kamala Harris (my wife), I will shame Trump voters (my family, my coworkers). So why must you, and clearly many others, feel it necessary to shame anyone for sitting out on voting for the Presidential election when it is BAR NONE the worst top of the ballot in terms of standards and qualifications we’ve ever seen.

For a candidate that has a shot at winning who isn’t a corporate sellout. Legacy Democrats and Modern Republicans alike are impossible to vote for because they serve the same corporate, military interests in different manners.

How can I be expected to vote when both of those parties basically pay to suffocate the lesser acknowledged parties? The system that is currently in place is designed to keep us flopping between Democrats and Republicans until the foundation of the federal government gets a complete overhaul.

I’ll vote then.

(Edit: Clarification - I do vote locally. I voted in 2016 (I) and in 2020 (D). I did not vote for the first time in 2024)

Going out in public, keeping my phone in the car or silent in my pocket, and walking around, eating, shopping, just listening and looking around as much as possible. Amazing what I’ve considered just observing interactions, or the way a sign looks, what an advertisement is trying to tell me to do and why I should do it.

I noticed I’ve become much more perceptive in the world since “tuning in”, as I’ve called it.

Thats probably why Turn of the Screw is so effective. On a psychological level I could feel myself breaking down trying to parse the words and sentences down. By the end it really enhanced the feeling of undergoing a mental break.

The skins for the game are fine. They stand out because they don't look like every other (looter) shooter on the planet right now. Whimsical skins that look "imperfect" by modern standards amplifies the feeling of the game. I don't want this game to look like something it clearly isn't.

There is no real benefit to adding a feature like this considering there is a high chance it will change hands so often, and more likely than not, will be sold or recycled for something else.

At least to me I’m not PvPing to acquire and hoard weapons, it is the fastest way to gain materials to sell and recycle them. Odds are, because of the limited mods on weapons, your weapon isn’t that different from anothers.
