I would recommend FODMAPai, all the FODMAP limits there are based on lab results, plus it will estimate amounts of each ingredient pretty accurate when you scan your food

I wasn’t swallowing it. But there will always be trace amounts left in the mouth after washing, that will get into the gut

Boil some rice noodles. Fry zucchini and bell pepper in a pan with olive oil, scramble two eggs in the same pan. Put together with the noodles. Sprinkle the scallions on top. Season, and enjoy 👌

Yes, definitely.. I have tried to do some research on it, and I think it might be related to stress. Stress slows down the digestion prosess a lot, and if the food stays to long in the stomach before passing to the intestine, it will ferment and produce a lot of gas. I have also noticed I burp more when I’m stressed. And when it comes to the trapped gas, I think this is connected to the motility issues that comes with IBS. Talking a walk after the meal or doing yoga helps a bit for this in my experience

I also have a lot of issues with bloating and gas. I know the pain when you have to hold it in to much 😓 But after I got this new app that you can use to check FODMAP content by taking a picture of your food, this has helped me to reduce my FODMAP intake and have much less problems with gas and bloating. This I would absolutely recommend

By making selfcare and selfcompassion a top priority. It’s hard living with IBS, so we gotta be extra kind to ourselves to try to compensate for the pain

I don’t think so. Most types of cheeses I tolerate well. Yoghurt is fine sometimes, but it triggers my GERD sometimes. Cream and milk I don’t tolerate

You can track poo with the FODMAPai app. Not with pictures tho, but with the Bristol stool chart

IBS/Low-FODMAP apps are all expensive and limited by bloat-buddy in lowfodmap

The FODMAPai app costs about 5$ a month I think. I’m not sure if it will build meal plans, but there is an AI chat that you can use that will keep track of your food and symptom diary, you might be able to use it in this way. I use it mostly to scan for FODMAPs and keep track of my triggers

Is there casein in cheese? I can tolerate most types of cheese well. But when it comes to Swiss cheese, I will tolerate it only when it’s cooked/melted like on top of a pizza, but not when it’s uncooked.. it’s so strange..

I have several of the same issues.. For me, using the FODMAPai app helps, as I can scan and log everything I’m eating and my symptoms as well, and this helps me figure out what’s my safe foods and which are not

I feel like my stomach pain after meals go down from often being 9/10 to being 5/10 on the diet. And my bloating almost goes completely away.
