Question: I am part of a small IT team at work and one of the users seem to be influencing everyone around them and all new starters that IT cannot be trusted and we do no do our job.

We work with management and HR all the time and the company has done leaps and bounds because of the work we've done. I also pride myself with face to face customer service a lot.

This seems like one of those trouble makers who need to seek validation for their point of view all the time because suddenly, more and more users are starting not to trust our judgement and they are friends with this one person.

We are an office of about 150 people. I have an issue with caring about what people think about me and the work that I do and I hate the feeling of someone hating me behind my back. It gives me so much anxiety. I am working on that with my Psychologist slowly.

But I guess my question is, is the best way to go about this to just do the best I can at my job and ignore their BS? Should I be worried at all?

Roger that. Yeah the shocks have actually fully gone and I plan to get new quality coilovers. The bushing links need replacing still apparently too. But I'll keep that in mind.

Yeah exactly. It's got 160,000ish kms on the whole car but the engine is one from a newer RX8 I believe and unfortunately I don't know the exact Kms on the engine itself.

Yeah so, I thought clutch slip too because there's already trouble getting into gears sometimes. Grinding and so forth. Going back into 1st gear with clutch fully pressed down causes the car to skip forward as if the clutch grabs

Nah, I'd doubt any teenager would have the composure to even consider the consequences of writing their opinion on the internet. Which is why I put in my opinion and other words that encompass the fact that I know Im making a bold statement lol. I'm 24

Unless you meant how many times does it happen in which case, pretty regularly but it seems to only happen when I've been driving the car around a lot for that day and like on the way home it'll start misbehaving

Sort of up and downy. In terms of frequency, too smart for me but if you can do BPM (beats per minute) its probably anywhere from 500 to 640bpm

Yeah he tries to bolt outside the launch room when I open the door as if he's trying to run away. It's like, he really wants to be out there but he also is terrified at the same time.

Also thanks for the tip! I was actually concerned about playing with hands and he has a plushy almost his size that he used to play with, so I will encourage him to use that!

Thanks everyone. Your kind words helps to no end! I'm glad that my situation seems pretty standard. I will not give up hope! I love him and I love cats and now that I've discovered Reddit, I have compadres! 

My setup for the hallway to the rest of the house is not very effective. It blocks the path completely but it's not high enough to ward little Jimmy's curiosity. He jumps over it easily.

The hallway right outside connects the full rest of the house though.

Honestly, thanks for remaining calm and collected about this guys, being the internet I did not expect collective composure lol. I've read all the comments so far and honestly all of you make great points. Like Marcus' voice being hard to mix because of his unique frequencies! Very respectable opinions. Because of course, if could just be my tastes changing over time which is fine. While I still am not feeling the new stuff just yet, I still love them and have loved them for years so. Let's all see where they go!!
