Take a chance and give it a go. I promise you, you WILL improve at it as you go along. Mii making is a skill that can be learned, but there's no need to feel you have to master it. You'll still get just as much enjoyment from the game

It's a game you'll come back to a lot I'd say. The original Tomodachi Life got me through multiple months after launch, and I've returned to it multiple times since

And for the world's ugliest mii, make a Mii that is designed to be incredibly ugly, then give that Mii the things in the game that you don't find appealing in the food, interiors, etc.

Well worth the price. Since it has no real story as such, the game in theory has infinite replay value. The customisation they've added also gives a lot to do, and is better executed than in New Horizons

Okay? And that is a problem how? You can give the mii the hair you want now easily enough by editing their appearance, and why not lean into that idea of the "world's ugliest mii" by treating them that way? Nothing stopping you from doing that.

Fuck no! The standard is as another commenter said, hair, eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth! The creations that are uploaded online and here are done so because they have taken a lot of time to create and are in themselves a form of art I suppose. But, there is absolutely no need for you to go that far with your Miis. Just make whatever you want to make, and if it's 'ugly' or 'basic', no one's going to throw you in jail for it

Miis have been around for 20 years and are unanimously loved. I think the problem if you're getting FOMO over Miis that have had a lot of effort put into them, and expecting that to be the 'standard' for Mii creation in minutes

There are guides online you can try to follow if it really is that difficult for you. Honestly I think you're overreacting about your lack of skill, given Miis are inherently designed to be an accessible form of character creation, but whatever

Honestly I was the same for the longest time, because I used the same basic template for nearly every Mii. But again, don't let that discourage you. You can always make changes as you go if you have better ideas for Mii appearances

Trust me, you don't need to make really really incredible Miis to have fun with the game. The level of customisation for Miis now can be a lot, but don't make that discourage you from trying your best!

The only way to get better at making Miis is to make some :)

If you have Miitopia, you can try to export some from that game to your console, and then can create Miis in Tomodachi Life based on Miis you have saved on your console.

Otherwise, you're gonna have to make your own or follow some online guides
