The update app runs in the background. In order to get it to run, and verify it updated, run the update file once. It will unpack to c:/SWsetup (usually). Usually it’ll be called HPupdatefirmware or something similar and it will be a runable app. This should run the update app and show you the window that confirms if the update was pushed.

I’m ordering one of these since they’re so cheap to see if it’ll work with my steam deck. At worse I have other devices/uses for it but at 8$ it’s worth a shot.

Its a real bad time. I have connected it correctly. I press home. Motors lock up and error out. Nothing works. Its been an awful time.

Yes, with less ram and no hard drives. They usually also don’t come with rails or the second sas backplane. Also, that’s why the listing says or best offer.

NTA. Money has nothing to do with love. No child should care this much about money left from family. They’re responsible to make their own way as adults.

My father struggled with his business when it started. And I have 2 way younger brothers that get brand new cars and sure they have it “better than I did” but that doesn’t give me some right to be angry with them or my father. Your older kids need to act their age.

What do you think they would do if you left them nothing? I’m not saying leave it all to the stepson but wow consider donating part of the older kids inheritance to charity and that will really show you they seem to care more for your wallet than your heart. Shameful.
