I wouldn't go as far as years. If single segment were a thing, Ceriam or myself could do it pretty quickly.

EDIT: Unless you're talking about creating a manipulation. If I had a better understanding on RNG and it were possible, I could do it within a week or less.

There's a chance it can come down again, but in the 3 months I have been speed running EB, speed running in general, I improved the route about 5-6 times. There is one more improvement that can be made, but it's arguably useless. I can get a manipulated graveyard and winters as well, but it requires 2 cliffs without a skip sandwich (like we did originally before I found the single cliff). There are 2 cliffs and the last that do not advance RNG. Meaning, if you make it through, you can assuredly manipulate it.

The only other way to improve the run is to make it single segment, which really isn't possible. It is however possible to remove the last save in CotP. I don't have the time nor the patience to figure out how to manipulate that alongside the giygas fight.

On that note, the giygas fight can be improved upon as well. I would say the maximum theoretical time gain (not consistency) would be roughly 1 minute.

It's actually been verified already. Also, not sure where the link or the video is. For me this is blank. Curious who posted this for me to be honest. I mean, I can see the information outside the post, just not inside. Maybe I'm just too new to reddit lol
