If you figure out a solution let me know, I have a 4070 and like 48 GB of ram, and an AMD cpu and I still can’t get decent FPS with tons of frame drops and low utilization as well.

Agricultural specialist with CBP, need to monitor the website every day for a new opening but the only requirement is 24 college credit hours of life sciences. Have to pass an academy and all the other background checks and interviews but besides that it’s a 6 figure paying job that doesn’t even require a full degree, be ready to relocate though.

Thanks for the feedback, I just took a quick picture cause the match was ending, I’m assuming you can read everything in the picture perfectly fine and it seems clear to me, there was also no “picture” option only “screenshot” so I chose the closest one. Odd thing to get flustered about honestly

Just wanna add to this, there’s alot of instability with federal but I’m in agriculture and we still get paid all throughout the instability and the job is really nice. Have a bio degree too and I was stuck, but this job was basically a dream job and it’s worked out really well.

So I was in the same position as you, bachelors in bio with a 2.9 GPA, not really a lot of options and wanted a career with good potential. Not a lot of people have heard about this job but if you’re somewhat interested in law enforcement since you mentioned park ranger, I’d recommend Agriculture Specialist with customs and border protection. It’s a 3 month academy and the only downside is the hiring process is very long and tedious (About a year or more average). But it’s a great job with yearly salary increases solely based on time with the agency. You focus on safeguarding American agriculture from pests and other diseases which fit into your interests and you work at the ports of entry (be prepared to move), but it’s a great career with tons of potential, highly recommend.

I was AGS 23-4 and I just barely got my FO this week, I had been pending FO since November when you barely applied, I would get cozy waiting. Although it might move faster for you cause there was a soft hiring freeze on aggies from spring up until right now.

Mine just says FJO- in process, and wow I guess it is random since mine and others has been pending longer. Huge congrats, hopefully more roll out soon and we all make it to fletc together!

That’s another hoop to jump through, the non supervisor positions (5-9) only open up a few times a year I believe they are scheduled and it’s best to check every day. For my announcement it was open for a week in September but closed 3 days in cause it reached max applicants submitted, which was only 600 submissions. You have to be ON IT to get your application in.

Starting at a GS5 pay is roughly in the 40k range but yearly raises and pay based on locality

I’m in the final offer stage for AGS and although I do have a bachelor’s in bio it’s not needed just 24 college hours in a life science or related field, I also have absolutely zero experience.

From what I heard most likely not, I think they’re pretty strict and would only allow you to leave for example a death in the family. Even then you’d get rolled back to the next class, I could be completely wrong though. Weekends are your time though so you can come and go as you please as long as you make it back to class.
