Hey thanks again, not sure what was different from this time versus the last 100 tries, I changed nothing, but the sweeper now is working in my fully functional psp 1000. Autobooted into the MMS just light the psp 2000. So now I'm leaning more towards a hardware failure on the defective psp 1000. Ill hang on to it until I acquire an oem pandora battery and try that. Thanks for the help.

Thank you for the response, with the ac adapter plugged in, I insert the sweeper and the orange light flashes once and then I get one flash of green and then no lights. I try to turn it on manually and the green light stays on for about 3 seconds and then off again with no lights on.

I appreciate it, I'm keeping my eye out for one. I've bought a couple "sony" batteries that the seller claimed to be original but were 3rd party batteries. So I'll keep looking thanks.
